I am CROSS about our CROSSES
I have said this before, what does our "defensive" coach Kennedy do?
For at least the last two seasons we have been terrible in dealing with cross balls either from corners or free kicks, noboby seems to have addressed this issue
Also our own corners are just as bad, we get lots of corners but very few goals come from these corners.
The team needs specialist coaches in these areas.

Kennedy isn't the defensive coach.

I think our corner concerns have been going on for a long time now. Unable to defend the back post in particular, although any high ball has us all over the shop. My own frustration is more with the lack of success we have from gaining corners and free kicks etc because we win many more corners than we concede but produce hee haw every time.
What exactly do the team practice at training? Decent corners and free kicks can win games if the players have technique and tactics but we don't seem to have realized this.

Pretty sure you've had an answer on this nonsense before as well.

There is a simple explanation for our lack of goal scoring from corners and dead ball situat In general and us conceding too many from these situations . Lack of big players dominating the area. We currently have 2 centre backs, CC V and Trusty are the regular pair . CCV is probably 2 or 3 inches too short to be truly dominating . Trusty rarely attacks the ball in either circumstances, basically he tries to block off opponent before concerning himself with the ball . He usually finishes on ground maybe a long side the opponent that he was “wrestling”. With . Maybe that is what midfielders or wingers should be doing, but certainly not one of two centre backs .
The most annoying thing about the opening goals in both H. ns match and yesterday was that both goals didn’t require height to defend . Against H. ns we. Really hadn’t a proper set up in area in front of near post to prevent ball been knocked on . We could blame coaching for this, but this is an experienced Celtic team who shouldn’t need coaching to know how to do this. basic simple part of defending.
Both these goals illustrate the lackadaisical care free attitude that most of our players have adopted, exactly the same as 2 years ago when we had an unassailably lead in SPL . Remember most us were full of disappointment and dispair, but team didn’t care as they knew SPL was won and their two interests were end of season and cup.
