Would you take Kyogo back for 3.5 million?

Agree5 Disagree0

No, had his day. for all chances we create he didn’t score enough in his last 12-18 months.

If he wants to make his mark in one of the top leagues he's not going to entertain a return to us and i'm good with that.

No. Agree with Zosh. I was actually hoping we upgraded him last summer but it didn't happen so this summer it is.

I'd love Kyogo back: but by asking out in this manner, he may not have a way back.

Another case of the grass not being greener like many before him. Although Idah is still struggling to be first choice, it would be a huge kick in the stones if Kyogo returned as main striker
Anyway as stated above, his best work in a Celtic jersey seems to be well behind him going by the last 12-18 months at Celtic Park.
Meanwhile, Maeda has come on a ton since Kyogo left, although I would like to see us do what we failed to do last January and replace Kyogo.

I thought Kyogo had made his mark in a top 5 league when he joined Rennes in France . Many people think that he may not be good enough to play in a top 5 league, I think he would be wise not proving them right.

22 Mar 2025 12:58:54
Why? Just buy a better striker!

22 Mar 2025 14:02:55
I wouldn’t take Kyogo back.
He wasn’t good enough in his last 2 seasons.

22 Mar 2025 17:56:54
He's not good enough though Des. His finishing was no where near what that level requires. Hence why he was rubbish in Europe. Hence why he's literally not getting a game for a mid-table French side.
