To be honest guys our first string would have suffered a similar fate. I'm really at a cross road for the first time as a hoops fan I'm totally committed too our team but if the board can't invest then can I keep doing it.I wouldn't invest this amount of cash in any other venture with so little in return HH

Neil francis lennon is perfectly within his right to leave this sewer of a country. I COULD`NT live with the sh1T the guy has to deal with, this type of thing wouldn`t be excepted else where. I hope he see`s it through too ten in a row because regardless of the circumstances he is a celtic great and deserves much better from this country, as his legacy before he goes to pastures new. HE MAY BE JUDGED as a manager in an other league, but it`s here he`ll be judged as a man, in that score he`ll go down among the greats in my view.

1.) Stay off the vodka thommy

2.) John c ass I'd assume as a buckfast drinker you would not be aware of the minds of fine vodka drinkers . its not very hard to read the post and agree .
The buckfast is effin your ability to see the sh#t anyone of Irish desent or Irish has to endure in your wee sick basket case of a country

Here's a wee plan for Dave king or any other person associated with the club that plays out of ibrox.
I say that because by the time I've typed this there may be another incarnation in place. Instead of looking for another guy with untold wealth of the radar, try this for a new type of business plan. Take all season ticket money plus match day ticket sales, match day revenue from catering club merchandise, any sponsorship monies, t.v money prize monies and any other revenue open to the club put it all in a big pot. Then with this cash which has been obtained honest and fairly, you can pay players and other staffs salaries, bussiness creditors and most importantly any money due to the inland revenue also policing and any other cost which may arise with the day to day running of " this once great institution".Then at the end of the season if the pot has any shekels' left then this may be used to invest in the playing staff, its called living within ones means, ot you could try the tried and trusted way of spending money you don't have or worse still money which doesn't belong to you, or scream for a rich blue knight in shinning armour to ride in with arms full of cash to throw around for your merryment . Which is it to be

1.) I thought DK was unbelievable on the news saying TRFC should back salary McCostly with loads more money.
One of SDMs directors that scuttled old RFC. Not willing to put his own money in and worried it might not go into admin and he'll never get it for buttons. And worried they'll run it within its means. No buying titles then.

Just heard of the sad passing of eusebio, a true legend from an era of football greats, seen his stats on tv truly phenomenal, I love watching old clips from this period and seeing skills which are lost to the modern game. May he rest in peace

I was lucky enough to see Eusebio in his prime playing for Benfica against Celtic in the old European Cup, we all know he was a great player but he was a true gentleman and sportsman, always remember him in 1968 European final against Manchester United game was tied 1-1 Eusebio ran through on goal but the United keeper made a great save to deny him the winner, he APPLAUDED the goalkeeper. His like will sadly, never be seen again. Timalloy

Thanks for the memory Joe, can't say he will be a major loss, good player when he turned up. Glad we'll be getting some money at least. Another decent player taking the buck to fade in to oblivion, still good luck to him

Bud,bud buddy bhoy wot can I say it's great to have a club with a history. But u my bhoy are a distant memory to us a bitter wee soul with no sense and no purpose(and no club hee hee) clinging to a memory of society that the modern world has left behind.your only joy know in your bitter little life is the occasional swally and a poke of yer stick at us then to sitand bask in wot you think is reciprocated hatred, unfortunately its only pity and amusement we get from yer lot now. Enjoy yer reply's

Well said Paul, the problem is we pander for signings but our ceiling is 2.5m or there abouts and what does that get you a gamble like the Dutch pretender.then you have commons for300g and does us a turn, we all know his limitations but for that investment its money well spent. We can't spend 6-7 m for real quality so why risk the funds we have it's time to invest what we have in young players we can put time and effort into on the training field because we as a club can't compete with minnows in other leagues when in comes too wages and transfer fees so why try, youth is the only way forward for us I think, so let's hope ronnies appointment is a sign were going down this route

Hi edd and all not been on for a wee while, partly because the chat was getting a tad bitchy lol and partly because end of season/close season can be very repetitive. First off a speedy recovery timbo the site needs guys like you. Nxt a farewell Neil can't believe you tolerated things so long. Welcome Ronnie I'm sure your not naive enough not too know the enormity of the task ahead. Anyway the reason I've jumped back in is the previous post from Paul struck a cord in regards to the depth and quality of the squad, I believe we won't spend that's a given but Ithink this appointment is because of this, heres a guy who could streamline things and improve from within, heres hoping, just my humble opinion

Chris just so you know I've never done the lousy things this little character has done, I'm no saint by any stretch of the imagination, but I try to bring up my kids to show respect to others, to be honest, not to discriminate against other people, I like to poke a little stick in the ribs of the rangers from time to time but it's only banter and I bare them no malice. I find Griffiths to be a bad role model for children.Celtic as a club have a history of high morals which is why I'm happy my kids follow them as I do. If your happy with this guy in our team after his tw*ter rant, his abuse and assault of a minor, the treament of his ex-partner(s) and children and all the other garbage that's your choice. I'd rather he had his second chance elsewhere grew up and started acting like a man, maybe then I wouldn't mind if he came to our club as a reformed character
p.s couldn't give a monkeys what his kind thinks of me
