I can see no champs league football next year maybe no European football let's just hope come the summer none of our targets are playing in the World Cup cause there price will sky rocket if they do half decent still don't think thumb is what we need I don't care what he does I will never be a fan of his should have just gave pukki and balde the chance to play together

I agree with ed I don't care if he scored 25 goals between now and the end of the season he is not what we need and I am starting to believe Lennon had nothing whatsoever to do with this deal

Ed I think this boy will surprise us all he has talent maybe not the right temperament but defo talent, we never thought Scott McDonald or Gary hooper would turn out as good as they did and I know his off field antics are bit of a worry but every 1 deserves a chance to change

Give the guy a break hope your resentment of him gives him some metal to prove you wrong the lad is 23 a young lad have you not done anything stupid when you were young I have which am not proud of but how come this lad is not getting a fair crack every other striker has we have signed am not meaning game time how is he different from balde and pukki nobody knew them is that why balde cost 2 million and never gets a game for a million I think its a good risk to take because the strikers are gash we have at our disposal you all shout about youngsters playing well here he is 23 Scottish international might not set the hay on fire but I think we will get a few good years of him scoring

Let the fans down he's not let me down and most fans av spoke to either. Total balls he won't change peoples minds if he's scoring goals but luckily enough for him he doesn't need to change the haters minds there's plenty of fans willing to back him.
Seems to be some amount of fans trying to take the moral high ground must be good up there where use are never having done anything wrong.

I'm with MB on this, the guy's here to play football ffs, were not asking you to take him into your home & have him babysit your kids! You can complain all you want if he messes up, I don't think he will! If I see anyone giving him a hard time on his debut for non-football reasons, they'll be getting pulled up! And most of the bhoys I know feel the same!

We're all entitled to our opinion. You don't like the guy, some others agree and some others disagree. Griffiths may have issues in his life and his moral compass may not be pointing true north but he's a footballer and possibly a fair decent one at that. Maybe with a wee bit of love from us he might shape up and get his act together. It certainly won't help if we get on his back before he kicks a ball.

Agreed CB, we believe were the best fans in the world, were meant to be progressive, tolerant & open minded (the polar opposite of the orcs). Yet we can't give a troubled young man a chance to prove himself? Brother Walfrid would be turning in his grave!

Chris just so you know I've never done the lousy things this little character has done, I'm no saint by any stretch of the imagination, but I try to bring up my kids to show respect to others, to be honest, not to discriminate against other people, I like to poke a little stick in the ribs of the rangers from time to time but it's only banter and I bare them no malice. I find Griffiths to be a bad role model for children.Celtic as a club have a history of high morals which is why I'm happy my kids follow them as I do. If your happy with this guy in our team after his tw*ter rant, his abuse and assault of a minor, the treament of his ex-partner(s) and children and all the other garbage that's your choice. I'd rather he had his second chance elsewhere grew up and started acting like a man, maybe then I wouldn't mind if he came to our club as a reformed character

But we HAVE signed him Ed. He may not be everyone's first choice. He wouldn't have been mine. But he's here and that's that.
There are things about our club we would all like to change but it's our club at the end of the day and we need to be loyal to both the club itself and the players brought in. In time you may well be proved right about Griffiths. He may mess up big time. Perhaps that would be a better time to say what you really think of him.
