I thought mikey Johnston was superb tonight! Very direct, and loves getting to the byline! Does all the things forest should be doing! Really hope he makes that position his own.

Both done well but opposition were rank. Johnstone hasn’t promise but Christie has had several chances and hasn’t ever really cut it. Ntcham was the class act on the pitch.

Johnstone done well . he hit the byline a good few times and on a better day the balls would have gone to a striker . decision making was better than it was last week so ots clear he is learning and games will only get him there . not sure if ready for a start against sevco on from bench more likely. forrest will be back for that i think

His final ball was poor. Did good stuff but his end product wasn’t there. Similar to Forrest a lot of good work but ends in a bad pass or poor shooting.

This week better go for the better as I don't think I can handle Monday morning in my work if we don't sign anyone and then a defeat! . I have been dishing it out at every opportunity to "them" since they died and even before (bigP on this can vouch for this as he used to be my boss)

Hey, sorta newcomer to the group (posted a couple of times under a different name) but always a daily reader of the page. With our desperate need for a defender, was there ever any follow up made on the South African guy Rivaldo Coetzee from last year who's medical showed up something on his knee?

I think I read some other SA team bought him then he got a bad knee injury before playing a game for them!

Don't think he had kicked a ball since his transfer after we dropped our interest.

He nearly had to retire due to the injury.
Apparently he has just started full training again after about
A year out so if the injury is fine then we may look at his m again in January.

Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland are just a wee bit farther that Aberdeen and there must be a decent Scandinavian defender/ midfielder that would be well within our budget? Gie Ronnie a phone lol.
