Sadly we all knew hatate would be leaving in the summer. I think Brighton would suit him for a season or 2 before moving on but I've heard there's a couple teams from Spain and Germany that can't be discounted.

The blame game will go on for months. They will try and blame everyone outside Ibrox. We went into this hoping to improve and learn, which we have. We are not far off it, take our chances and stay tight we'll be OK. We are a work in progress. They went into it expecting to get to the final. I will admit it's funny they lost but some off our fans are creaming their pants. We got knocked out the champions league but sevco got pumped out so it's fine is the mentality off some fans.
We should not be comparing ourselves to them, it was this attitude that held us back for years when rangers died. Fans were happy enough just to be better than them when we should have been out off sight going for 12 in a row this season.
Like I said it's funny I admit I had a laugh but I wouldn't celebrate it like some are doing.

I'm just happy to see them get what they deserve. They was lucky to get past PSV and knew a tough group they would get the kind of doing we've been ripped for off them when playing against the likes of PSG. Doesn't heal the disappointment for me as our group got away from us due to endless missed chances. We should be on the brink of getting out a tough group yet we're out with 2 games to spare. It's tough but it's all a learning curve, but from where we was under Lennon to now is some hell of an improvement.

We haven’t even won a game in Europe this season and have created new record of losing 7 games in a row at home in this competition.
Let’s be honest Real Madrid are the only top side in our group there’s nothing much between the rest of us so instead of worrying about how poor they have been we need to take a reality check as I genuinely thought we would have great chance to qualify out this group and at very worst would be a clear 3rd but again we are nowhere near it.
All this but we created lots of chances is great if other team don’t and they scrape a win but Leipzig scored 5 over 2 games, had 2 ruled out and missed at least 3 1on1’s with GK and we lost both games by 2 clear goals.
Against Real we lost by 3 clear goals at home even though their main man was taken off injured. This Real Madrid side are beatable at this stage every season just ask Sherif or Shahktar who despite losing the majority of their 1st team in summer and don’t even have a home ground in their own country were seconds away from beating them this year but still drew.
We are actually proud to have played well for an hour and losing 3-0 is that the depths we have fallen to now that when we lose 3 group games 8-1 on aggregate we say yeah but we created lots of chances as if the opposition scored every chance they got because on that logic we would have lost 5-2 to Real Madrid, 7-2 to Leipzig and 5-2 at CP.
We did deserve to beat Shahktar and that frustrates me that we didn’t but losing ourselves in the comp to a team that heap of Sh** KO this calender year then slagging them for getting pumped is embarrassing.

I wonder if there's some strategic team planning in keeping idah on the bench. Each time the lad performs or scores surely makes any future more either more difficult or at least more expensive, ? now I knew nothing of him before he got here and was disappointed too but I think he's done a great job and turned most heads. League scorer list made interesting reading as we would have been out of sight if we had a 30 goal striker this season.

His best performances have been as an impact sub and if roles were reversed with Kyogo, I'm sure it wouldn't be as effective. I know every player wants to start games, but why change a successful ploy.

Idah has scored 7 goals and had 2 assists in 12 games to date - i think it's an insult to him to even mention OH in the same conversation - OH NO needs to GO GO.
It could well come down to the fee and unless it's silly, I personally would sign him.
With Bayern Leverkusen securing the German title it's likely Frimpong will leave for a big fee which we're due a cut of.
Also with Magic Mikey turning on the style down south, that's bonus cash if we can get shot of him in the summer.

Ed I know it's been asked but can I just check if Rodgers did or did not have the final say on the recent signings? I appreciate some appear to not be so hot but for a guy fabled for developing talent he's been quick to rubbish a lot of them.

Rodgers has came out and said that Kuhn and Idah were both players he wanted so take for that what you will and it was said that in the summer he had to pick from players who were scouted for the previous manager.
The Club is a riot when it comes to recruitment and who we sign shouldn't be down to the current manager is.}

With regards Kuhn, I am not sure Rodgers identified him but based on his comments it sounded like he wanted him as he was very complimentary when he signed, unlike when we signed Shved.
With regards Idah, that was definitely a Rodgers signing. Rodgers commented recently that he had been alerted of Idah's availability near the end of the transfer window and that he had said he was on his radar from earlier in his career.

It's a bit mental that at such a high level his only real attributes are speed fitness and tenacity. His final ball and finishing are so far off and dint seem to be improving.
