You'll probably find some of the bars will be willing to put it on for you tonight if you go in today and ask them.

2.) 02 Aug 2017 11:01:15
If you can find another half dozen people who will drink in there all day that will help them come to a decision if it's possible for them to get it.

3.) 02 Aug 2017 11:07:07
Cheers Lads. C'mon the Hoops.!

Myallby didn't mince his words "Yanko. he can't defend".

Surely Janko needs to be hiked at half time. Rodgers will surely see his defensive capabilities are non existent and with his confidence shot is an expensive mistake waiting to happen. Erik brought on with Lustig falling back into RB slot.

I'd also take off mcgregor and get rogic on.

2.) 23 Aug 2016 20:49:31
I think that's the priority to try and tighten up defense, but lately Lustig has been better at CB than he has at RB, but Janko is awful. Also, we are being over-run in the middle with McGregor really struggling and the two wide men being taken out the game; so we have a few things to consider?

3.) 23 Aug 2016 21:00:05
You called it Howie. how didn't BR. He needs Erik on now.
Lustig to right fb. . We are sinking fast!

Looking like the SS signing will be finally going through. happy days. my only query
regarding this player that he appears to be very right footed. I was hoping his signing would give us some real width and pace up the left flank, so we can finally start get some crosses in to our strikers who are both useful in the air. wee Roberts is magic and a total breath of fresh air but like Sinclair prefers to cut inside so not many crosses from that side either. basically both like to come inside and create in the central areas. Personally, . being a bit older. I'm hoping Brendan has noticed this and will be encouraging both wingers to swap flanks regularly, mix it up a bit and get to the by line more. making us less one dimensional and harder to defend against. Hail hail .

The wingers cut inside, draw the defenders and either shoot or play it wide to the overlapping full back.

Simple lol!

2.) 06 Aug 2016 15:51:13
If only it was that simple!

Was just thinking what a good signing Ricky Lambert would be . can't buy a game at west brom and would be the kind of striker we've been missing since Sutton. obviously money would be a challenge but would be a real statement of intent from the club.

Howie

1.) 14 May 2016 11:13:37
Yeah that's what we need another ageing striker who can't get a game remind you of anyone. Charlton Cole.

2.) 14 May 2016 10:41:05
A statement of intent? Really?

3.) 14 May 2016 11:36:37
Ricky lambert would score goals no bother up here. Has most places he has been. As for ageing a good squad has a good mix of youth and experience

4.) 14 May 2016 11:45:50
Kane Hemmings (among many) hAs scored plenty of goals up here- I don't think we should sign him/ them either.

5.) 14 May 2016 12:51:21
Said a few years back when he was at Bristol rovers he would score for fun up here! And he probably still would, but I think with his age and salary it would be a non starter! Not the worse idea I've heard but to be honest, because unlike Cole and CKR this guy scores for fun when he gets a chance!

6.) 14 May 2016 13:26:04
Guys like lambert bring more to the club than just goal.
His like up play is very good.
If you need to go to a plan be you can do that tae.
Also a great role model for young players.
Like I said best teams have a good mix of youth and experience but the experienced player must bring something to the team on the park.
Lambert in my opinion would.

7.) 14 May 2016 14:06:58
Kev, I link his like up play as well. lol.

8.) 14 May 2016 14:35:10
Bloody auto fill on this phone!!lol

9.) 14 May 2016 17:37:31
He would be a strange signing, a couple of years too young and lacking in experience for Manager. A couple of years too old and lacking in movement for a footballer, maybe we should go for him as an assistant manager, he probably has enough movement to put out the cones.

Seem like I might be firmly in the minority here but I've been really impressed by Shay Logan's ability. I know we have been stung by taking the lazy options in the past by looking at Scottish based players. but Logan's gritty defensive qualities, positional awareness, pace and use of the ball in position have excellent for 2 seasons now (not a one season wonder) . I really don't like him because he is not ours. and is very good. think he is better than lustig who looks passed his best and our back ups just aren't good enough in my opinion. would love to see him brought in.

Whether on not the sightings are genuine or not, I think Clarke is our best option.Tactically good/players seem respond well to him/European experience/ is popular with other coaches/plenty contacts home and abroad/straight talking with the media and fairly dignified .Snap him up I say!

Stevie Clarke ticks all the boxes for me.Plenty of experience as a coach and he is tactically very aware.Seems very popular with players and plenty experience of European football and European players. We need to get our skates on quickly though as his reputation in England is good and I think he will be snapped up soon!

I have never been one to judge a player based on some youtube footage. But I have to say,Boyata's highlights reveal a player who is not at all comfortable on the ball, nervous in possesion and treats the ball like a very very hot tattie.Have to say I am worried about this one. It's been a luxury and a real pleasure watching Denayer and VVD help us keep possesion and build our possesion patiently whilst having pace and strenghth in their defensive locker. Its shows these players are out there. just hope Ronny agrees.

Yeah which makes complete sense mate but that's also where GMS plays his natural game (as predominantly a left sided attacking wide player) who can also drift inside.Suppose we'll find out what Ronnie's thinking soon enough.
