Although I read every day I've not posted for several years. (Generally too shy to express opinions)
After today's inept performance I thought I'd have to give it a go again.
My question, How in has it all unravelled so quickly and where do we go from here?
In my opinion we have too many (loan signings) not at the required level too many simply wanting to be elsewhere and the rest regressing when presented with a challenge. The effort and overall display of Eddy culminating in the abject penalty an example.
The decision made in the showers a couple of years back was the catalyst for this decline. To let a club run by shysters overtake us in such spectacler fashion is down to the board with probably DD and PL more culpable.
Anyway, moving forward, our new CEO has a big job on his hands. We need a manager who's going to stick around for a few years and bring some stability. We need new players scouted and brought in ASAP as there is too much at stake next season. We need to get show the mob across the river that this was merely a blip and we're as motivated as them.
I'll leave at that just now but hope to become more involved moving forward. Ranting a bit due to the lager!
Keep up the great work Ed and regular posters. Perhaps I'll pluck up the courage soon to dip into the podcast.

Ha ha. Absolutely not. You never meddle with the legendary status guys already on board. According to my son though, my Celtic Da patter stinks!

First time poster, love the site and reading the opinions of fellow 'Tic supporters. Thoughts please as this has been nagging me since leaving the stadium last night. In my opinion, it was evident that we need a new capable striker. Many names have been mentioned since Hooper left. Most would cost a few million. With a slender 1-0 advantage, will PL sanction movement or will he sit tight until after next Wednesday? My fear, dare I say it, should we go out next week, what we have is what we will go with unless more go out the door. I'm all for being prudent but I think, given the recent cash injection, we deserve a name to excite us. Am I being too needy and cavalier? I'm not part of your squad as A) I'm too auld and B) I have other family commitments on Sunday.
As I don't use social media (again, too auld) I just wanted to drop you a quick line to congratulate you for your wonderful work. What you've pulled together in such a short time for a wonderful cause is outstanding. I've made a donation to help you reach your target (fingers crossed) . If you decide to make it an annual event I'd be up to watching in future. God bless you Michael and our NHS.
