Hi ed. Can uk viewers buy Celtic tv and watch it in the UK? Cheers.

Gerrybhoy1888

{Ed007's Note - They can but don't see live games buddy. You need to hide your IP which must be quite easy seeing Jamie managed it tonight without paying someone to do it.}

That's cos I don't charge 😂.

{Ed007's Note - Not for that anyway ;)

Top opinion Ed of your financial advisor that :-P

But pin point accurate just the same in medical terms it's called Phat Phingers syndrome aka as just no patience (y)

{Ed007's Note - :-D WB done us all proud last night - that was the only good to come out of his forced and unjust exile from Celtic Park.}

Alrite lads. i think caulker would be a great addition to our team. Do u not agree?

Gerrybhoy1888

1.) 17 Jul 2017 21:02:22
I do not agree, because I have never seen him play, and therefore cannot say I agree,

2.) 17 Jul 2017 21:10:58
Was a good defender before he had his problems here's hoping he overcomes them first and foremost then concentrates on playing. Poor lad hasn't been able to play in a while. Been wondering if the Glasgow goldfish bowl would make things more difficult for him or if playing in front of the greatest fans in the world for the magnificent Celtic would help him overcome his problems. Either way hope he wins his battle.

{Ed007's Note - I found THIS article the other night which I thought was a good read and it ends on a positive note from Caulker regarding where his life is now. Fair play to him for his openness and honesty in it as well and they way he doesn't sugarcoat things or look for any sympathy.}

3.) 17 Jul 2017 21:39:07
Sounds like he still has a bit of a struggle on his hands, coming to Celtic might be perfect for him, or the pressure might be too much, Brendan knows him, and that might be a plus, and the manager can decide, as for the Linfield game, I would play Ajer alongside Simonovic, I think he is a natural in that position.

{Ed007's Note - I'd start with Ajer too, it's a perfect chance for the lad imo. We know he can handle the SPFL so a bunch of part-timers should be no problem for him.}

4.) 17 Jul 2017 21:57:39
Hear you, Campsie. I've kept mum on this one so far as I know something about what the lad is dealing with. But to dive into Glasgow and hope to keep things on the level would probably be a big ask of anyone. We've a great bunch at Parkhead just now, and many have seen their careers take twists and turns, but I think Caulker would be better off with someone like Ronny Deila to guide him during this phase of his recovery. As a footballer, he's got what we need however, so I'd be glad to be proven wrong.

Thanks for posting that Ed. I think his courage in telling his story is admirable. He has shown tremendous courage to pick himself up. He is still on a long road by the sounds of it, and I sincerely wish him well.

{Ed007's Note - It'll be a road he's on for the rest of his life, best of luck to him.}

6.) 17 Jul 2017 22:42:00
Yes, it would be a good experience for Ajer, if he played against, Linfield, and I wish Caulker all the best,

7.) 18 Jul 2017 06:40:44
Firstly, I think Caulker could be an incredibly shrewd signing. There's a right good centre back in there. He looked the business coming through at Spurs. We often talk about one bad move not making a bad player on here, from what he's said moving from Spurs was worse for him than what met most people's eyes.

I read that article a few days ago. Good luck to him. Just putting his cards on the table like that could do him the world of good. Talking about it abd being open and expressive is a huge lift off your shoulders, and a big step to recovery. Also pleasing to read he's taken some huge steps with the related drink and gambling issues. The charity work, well putting things in perspective is a huge benefit also. I can tell folk now, moving to Celtic isn't going to necessarily solve everything. But I think it could help. He speaks in the article about just wanting to enjoy football again. Just ask Sinclair that coming to Celtic can do that. Being in a dominant side, winning things, and when things are going well, playing in front of our fans and the green brigade must be very enjoyable. He also speaks about admiration for big Malky, almost as an arm around him. I think Brendan could be that too.

More than most, he could do with a bit patience from the fans whilst he gets into his stride. And if he does, he can be immense for us.

Excellent article and used to amaze me when I was younger when I heard of someone in that position having depression but it's a horrible illness that can strike anyone at anytime and make them feel there's no end fair play to the man for being rave enough to seek help and admit his mistakes No doubting the guys footballing ability BR will know him better than any of us but if it was me I'd give the man a chance. Best of luck to him. Can't wait for the game tomorrow here's hoping we stuff them.

3.) 11 Aug 2016 18:55:14
No way will it happen but sure if it wasn't a wide up ⬆ would be delighted if we could get him in.

3.) 01 Aug 2016 17:00:09
