There is a report stating we have been in contact with Mechelen about their €6.5M 21 year old right back Thérence Koudou. Looks quick and attacking from a YouTube glance.

Passed monitoring stage and at Contact. The low ball bid and weeks of haggling still to go.

In January 2027, we may go back to test the waters after our sniffing about this month ends with a bid several million below what the club want - that's the MO for Mikey Nicholson.

Sick of this "we've been in contact"or "we're monitoring".
Mark my words we will be scratching around the loan market on the last day of the window having sold Johnston and Engels.
Then we'll get the but but we broke our transfer record.
Absolutely sick of all the F******** about every transfer window.

I live in hope we might sign a proven starter that will br able to beat a defender and cross the ball. Despite Engels being a so called dead ball specialist (I am sure that's what MON called him 'once') our corner taking is rank awful.
Hoping the ex Hearts coach can teach someone in our team to allow us to take a corner properly. If not, can we decline to take a corner if earned?

Stevie, I’m no adverse to a loan market signing. This board can’t be trusted identifying and signing talent. Look at the Jan window. I hope Hogh proves us wrong but no way Engels was worth the spend and tbh I haven’t seen a decent big money buy really prove their worth. CCV injured, Julian pish, Jota injured, Trusty nowhere near the value we paid, balikwisha pish…
Here’s a question, how many players over £3.5m have actually worked out? And don’t get me wrong I know guys like Engels will likely sell for more than we bought but is he really better than Armstrong or MOR… or dare I say it even Christie?
IMO keep what we have, get guys on loan to buy, until we have the proper infrastructure.
