According to 'Celts Are Here' the club has made an approach to Man. City to take highly rated 19 year old Centre Back, Simpson-Pusey (I think that's the correct spelling) on loan.

{Ed007's Note - Inamura was brought in as a CB and Celtic have been working on bringing a LB in. It's all well and good Inamura covering in there in meaningless preseason friendlies but realistically we need someone who can cover if Hob Nob Hips misses any CL games, don't forget Inamura has only played 36 games in his entire career and hasn't even played in a competitive game for Celtic yet.}

Ed maybe Celtic are ĺooking to upgrade the CB position. When we sign another CB, Welsh will be away.

Time will tell. He's not in the manager's plans and if the board don't back him with the players he wants. Welsh will be 6th choice behind the rest.
