L'euipe reporting Lennon Miller asking price as 9 million euros.

If you are Brendan Rodgers, do you want to sign him?

If so, and you are the Celtic board, how much should we be aiming to pay for him?

{Ed007's Note - This is just 100% total gossip but I've heard the the initial fee is £6 million plus substantial add ons and that it was all agreed in January, there's one of the lads on the discord has heard the same about it being agreed then too. Even at £7.5m it's a no brainer for me, we paid £4.4m (£7.6m today with inflation) for a 22-years old Scott Brown 17/18 years ago, it's a dereliction of duty that we have let players like Lewis Ferguson slip through the net, let's not be sitting here in 3/4 years time thinking what if with Lennon Miller, this is a youngster on our doorstep that can be moulded into CalMac's replacement - and dare I say even "better" with Miller's more physical presence.
What annoys me about the whole Lennon Miller saga is that it shouldn't be down to Rodgers, the decision to sign the best youngster in Scotland just now should be down to a DOF with a longer term view of the best for the Club/team, not a manager that has only a year to run on his deal.

I hope it has been agreed as I think he is a talented player and would hopefully get even better under Brendan's tutelage.

It's important to have a Scottish core. He could be that and a very talented player for years or, turn a profit for those who are more into that sort of thing. He's a very talented young player and £6m is a no brainer as Ed point out. €9m is even fine. Look at what good young players cost. If he was ours already we'd have people (including myself here) quoting 20m. Somebody somewhere will find a better player for less this summer, that's just how the universe can work, but this transfer for us just makes sense.

. I read recently that Paul Tisdale joined Celtic as Head of Football Operations in Oct 2024 . It’s reported elsewhere that Tisdale has joined Celtic as Director of Football .
Is there any difference between “ Head of Football Operations “ and “Director of Football”.

What percentage would you give on us signing him?

I totally agree that we need to get this done asap.
