When the board accepted west ham offer for engels to leave before qualifiers was the admittance we have no desire to be a champions league club. When we refused to bring in an adequate replacement or bring the signings in to prepare for these qualifiers is again an admittal that we have no aspirations to be in that competition. For me the disappointment year on year of failure to qualify has been replaced this time with a realisation that our board answers to nobody does as they please as there is no consequence. You can only make change by providing consequence and that has to be boycott there is no other language they understand apart from pound and pence. if we keep showing up filling the ground they take us for fools as they have done for years now.
Enough is enough we are watching a skint Rangers overspend massively why are we bothered about champions league is it for the money we have tons of it but don't spend again we in black for transfers. Is it for prestige well getting pumped most games is hardly prestigious. We must accept that until we have a board who act like they running a champions league club then we are not 1.football works in cycles we are getting to the same point as Kelly's and whites people who thought the club was theirs. The club is ours we must remind the powers that be now and again of that fact the time is now.

Martin ONeil stated Engels didn’t want to play in case he got injured. Plus a couple of the players we are wanting to replace Engels were waiting to see if we qualified for the champions league. Our managers words so what is the board or the coaching staff meant to do in that situation?

Engels is under contract if he refuses to play then he should still travel with squad to own his decision and be shown the club is in control similar to hadjuk split not allowing 2 players to move until after tonight's game 1 who is coming to us.
That makes us look weak as a club. Unlike most clubs our biggest games aren't in may they are in August so players moving need to be reminded of this same for hadjuk biggest games in August.
