I find it odd that there are some Celtic fans who think Callum McGregor is a defensive midfielder.
Yes he often sits in front of the defence but his role is to to receive the ball from the defenders and start our attacks.
I would place him as a deep lying play maker or regista.

The player we might have had by the way if we replaced Scott brown with a dcm is outrageous, that’s a compliment to cal not a criticism, he’s still performed unbelievably and led team impeccably, I think back to mor stepped in there for a bit, great player, good vision and able to control game from there but never a dcm.
