Av been banging on about the need for a CB for a while, are we even looking. they will concede goals but thankfully we have recruited well so far up front. Tipped Nygren last year to finish top scorer and THE WHO this year.

Troy I'd imagine we're looking at positions across the team.
The fact that MON was interested in bringing back the young CB, Benjamin Arthur, demonstrates he's looking in that area of defence, although I'd prefer an upgrade on the 3 main CB's who would usually feature in the side (CCV, Trusty and Scales) .
Hogh, Duran and Engels will score a barrow load each this season.

Some quality finishing tonight, just what we've been missing but again very sketchy defensively and how they didn't score is baffling.
A lot of good performances but 3 stood out for me. Duran probably just edged MOM although Donovan was excellent too! Yes he's young and will make mistakes but he always puts in 100% and tries when possible to be positive with the ball. Defensively solid considering his inexperience.
We've won a watch with Duran, what a bargain! I think he could be SPL top scorer this year. Last year's "bargain" signing, Nygren was at it again, another top-drawer finish and some of his other link up play was sublime. Can't understand why so many supporters question his worth to us.
The result flattered us no doubt but we deserved to win the game comfortably. Not throught yet though as next Tuesday's result could be anything. At least we'll probably score, so in all likelihood will make it. However, given our talent for making things harder than they should be, I'm going for a 4-2 win for LASK!

@troy - we have needed a CB since last summer and you could make an argument that we actually need 2. We lack pace at the back and someone dominant in the air.

If we had a proper defensive midfielder we would have had a more comfortable evening but next week it will be the same and I think they will score.
Hopefully not as quickly as last night, so we will have to be on it from the first minute.
It will be a very difficult night but we have enough to score ourselves.
Their small midfield player was the one everything went through, so keeping him quiet will be important. If we can do that then we can control more of the game.
