Evening Bhoys n Ghirls, How does everyone feel with the direction the transfer window is heading?
I for one is happy. Can’t wait to see what rabbits get pulled out the hat. We are 2 thirds through the transfer window and movement is now going at pace. Out of 10 what’s thoughts and out of 10 what would satisfy you.

Roughly 3 weeks of the window left and we have only really signed 1 player, as one of the guys was a replacement for Maeda. We also have concerning deficiencies in our team, the champions league qualifier is fast approaching and the deadline for signing players for it is tomorrow and our net spend is a pittance.
Only good thing is we now have a Kyogo replacement after 18 months and replaced Maeda before we sold him.

I don't even see it as we've replaced maeda. more often than not maeda played out on the LW. Duran is being played on the right, and Hogh is a very long overdue replacement for kyogo. to replace maeda for me we need an out and out LW. Tounetki etc just don't cut it.

Did we not have a bloated squad of players not good enough for us? Hassan is coming in as is Taylor and Baur, I think we will see a change of formation once done.
Don’t need to replace Maeda if we change to a 4-3-1-2 or a 3-5-2 both can be done when we add the new signings we will all be like - Maeda Who? Or Maeda Hogh.

Happy so far and happy to wait and see,
Lots of deals get done at end of window,
Players signed so far are exactly what we missed last season, lb gk and other squad roles i'm happy to accept Celtic will more than likely use the loan market, now it’s replacing who leaves, Bernardo wasn’t contributing but we are one mf injury from him perhaps being required, so for me outwith Hassan (starter) first 11 doesn't need anyone, need lb gk md for squad, need replace anyone that leaves, (reo Engels aj)
So 3 loanees and as we can expect prob 2/ 3 to go 5 more in total after Hassan, i'd be delighted if we couldn’t move on reo and he had to accept place on bench and maybe even pick up form to get move he wants but think he’s going to sulk his way out the door.

I'll assess it once the window is closed. It is far too early and we are still short of at least 3 or 4 signings GK, LB and pair of midfielders because we will sell Engels and give away Hatate.
Engels sale will pay for 2 or 3 of the next incomings as we will need to valance the books.
