It’s the first time in a while we have signed an out and out striker that knows where the net is. The one issue I have with the signing is the tactics. We need to service this guy. Backwards passes aren’t going to do that.
We need new faces in that midfield and out wide. Get the crosses in and score some goals. I can’t watch another season McGregor playing it back to CCV and Scales. I really can’t.

Not an argument. but why are we breaking transfer record on hogh if duran is out and out striker?
{Ed007's Note - I said the other day that I think tactically Duran is Maeda's replacement, he can play up front or on the wing. Even if it is Hogh, Duran and Little Donnie as our 3 strikers, what's to complain about?}

In an ideal world the 3 you mentioned would be severely upgraded.
Some decent stuff today and defence looked better when CCV went off.
Change in tactics definitely needed if Hogh signs.

I think Duran and Hogh will both run riot in this league but they need better players around them to make inroads on the European stage.

I know you're talking about service matey, Hogh isn't just a target man he drops in plays balls round the corners, he won't just sit up top for tap ins or hold it on, he's much more dynamic than that.

Hogh and Duran as a front 2 would be great, if they can hit it off straight away.
Hogh looks unselfish when players are in a better position from the highlights I watched.
