Celtic have taken the option to postpone our league match away to St. Johnstone which was scheduled for the weekend of August 22nd.

I think we have postponed the transfer window till next July.

I was looking at rescheduling dates.
Match Day 1 for the CL and Europa League are on different midweeks.
If Celtic Qualify for the CL we will probably play St. Johnstone a few days before Sevco come to Parkhead.
That gives up our free midweek advantage with Sevco playing in the Europa or Conference league.
Or
If we fail to Qualify for the CL we could play on that midweek but I don’t see the SPFL forcing Celtic or St. Johnstone to play a league match a few days before a league cup Quarter Final clash when the other clubs have a free midweek.
That means the can could be kicked further down the road.
Or we could change our minds at the last minute and play St. Johnstone on the original date since Sevco were allowed to do that last season.
