Sadly was there any truth in us being interested in him. If not that's a worry. He was a standout last season and showed up well at the WC.
The fact we can offer trophies and this year at least CL, may have swayed him had we given him an offer. Chances are Wrexham would pay him more but he is in a really difficult league to win, but it is a shop window to the pub league.
Hoping this week is when we start getting players in ?.
