I think what we can take from the Sporting friendly, even although we fielded a weakened team, is that we are seriously in need of reinforcements.
With less than 3 weeks to go before the start of the season and with a number of players reported to be leaving the board really need to step up and deliver what the fans expect ??.

I am not 100% sure but that was one hell of a weakened Lisbon team that made Celtic look even more mediocre than I thought they where.
