It’s hard to think at one stage in the last decade we had Leigh Griffiths, Edouard and Dembele as our striking options.
Now we have Johnny Kenny and Calum Osmand.
Appreciate Osmand looks a player but yet to be tested over a run of games.
Kenny just isn’t good enough imho.

I think Kenny has all the attributes to be clinical. He's young has scored against them scored in Europe probably a victim of his early success. He has pace physicallity for a slender lad.
Not the finished article by any means but not to judgeed do harshly. Not his fault the state of our squad. The Irish bus sometimes blights opinion however I rate myself, great potential.

Kenny missed six sitters i'm vital ganes. He tries hard but he isn't up to the level we need.

When I watched Kenny at shamrock rovers, he was often on the left and coming from deep and was very effective. A similar role to what samaras used to play.
I personally don't think he is suited to number 9 role. So unless we plan on paying him on the left and using full backs to create the width, I don't see any point keeping him.

He is nowhere good enough in any position for us. He just doesn't have the technique, physicality or finishing ability to be our main striker.

I think I am right in saying that Kenny did his ACL when put on loan end of last season, so we won’t see him for a while, if ever again in a tic shirt.
