I was thinking about players we have had that never could make it at Celtic but went on to be solid players elsewhere and in higher divisions.

Oh - was the example last night scoring the winning goal for South Korea. Been linked with big money moves and proving to be a solid asset to the teams he has played for after Celtic. Always felt he had raw ability that we just couldn’t harness.

Do you think the issue is directly with the player and the expectations required to play for Celtic? That including the horrible way some players are treated when they miss one chance or have a bad game?

Do you think it’s anything to do with Celtic’ lack of planning and low quality development strategy?

Or is it a combination of both?

In Oh's case, I think it was because he was so young and inexperienced. The potential was there but we don't keep them long enough to develop as we need "oven ready" players to win vast majority of games.

We are guilty of moving players on without giving them a proper chance and Inamura could prove to be another example of that. This strategy of sticking to one system, using the same players week in week out, (regardless of form) also doesn't help us retain our most promising youngsters.

Using different systems and personnel, designed to be effective against the set up of the opposition we're facing, would result in better squad rotation, handling of injuries, development and retention of talent. The added bonus would making us less predictable and more difficult to know how to set up and defend against us.

With Oh it was the case BR didn't sign him so he sat in the bench. He us quick strong and has an eye for goal. I really believe we missed a trick with him. He is better than most who replaced him.

I have said many times, had he and a few others been given a real chance they could have made a good impression.

I think Rodgers dropped the ball with Oh, he was too keen to cut him loose. We should have had him put on loan in the league to see how he fared. Wish we had him last season. Hope we don't make same mistake with Kenny, I think there's a player in there.

Kenny will never be any better than league 1 in England that’s his level at his best.

There is enough mediocre players at Celtic that need moved on and he is near the top of that list.

Kenny has just turned 23, his best years are to come. He has both height and pace, attributes which cannot be coached.

With experience and the right coaching I'm confident his all round game and especially his composure in front of goal will improve.

Osmand has more to his game and he’s barely even played.

Kenny had his chances and proved he hasn’t got it to be a striker at Celtic.

Kenny has pace and most importantly can put in a good cross, take the burden of him being main striker and am saying this now he will be a good winger.
