Our Board never change their M O (ie sell players or clear wages off the books)

First clearing wages Welsh (I would think £12k+ weekly)
Big Kaspar ( I guess he was one of our top earners let's say £25k+)
Palma (again say £15k) Innamuto (maybe £12k+)
There will be others leaving but just those players leaving frees up about £64k of wages.
Now if we add wages of loan players returning to their clubs let's say about £40k, so there is £100k of wages available

We know Palma and Innamuto already brought club £5m
Hatate should go £10m, Maeda £15m, Engels £10m, Bernardo £5m, Nygren £20m
(being conversative with all these figures hopefully club brings in more)

Knowing our Board they will WAIT until most of this money is in club before sanctioning any buying

I hope I am wrong but our Board do not fill this Tim with confidence of bringing players in early.

For all these 40 to 50 mill if very lucky but possibly more we get outlandish offers like 10 mill for hatate and 5m for bernado and 20 m for nygren.

Tim, where does the Engels 10m come from. NF offered 25m 6 months ago and him coming back with AJ and Daizen getting back to his best won us the keague. He will go for over 20m as he has so much potential.

Surely with Martin in charge they'll give him the necessary support, they've no choice this summer by the time everyone leaves we'll have a threadbare squad, it's about getting the right players, the ones leaving should be leaving your yamadas inamura Welsh bernardo throw in the loans and probably hatate maeda, hopefully we keep engles and nygren but don't hold your breath on that, so plenty of work needed before season starts never mind cl qualifier.

@tim how does engles go from 25/ 27 million in January ( depending on who was reporting ) to 10 mill in a massive rebuild summer?

The figures I quoted I said were conservative and I also added I hoped we got more, some players will go for big amounts while others will go for less, point I tried to make it looks like once again Board are getting cash in first before sanctioning transfers IN.

Mally I really hope Martin has got a firm promise about his budget and I hope also he has told DD to act QUICKER than past seasons.

Guys, remember DD promised BR he be backed and shafted him, so I am not holding any real belief at this time for MON to get backed the way he needs to be.

The transfer window doesn't open until 15th this month. I guess we can trip and believe for once in this boards tenure that they are all over what is truly needed as soon as the window officially opens ??? Then we come back into reality and wait until the end week of the transfer window and pick up anyone that is left in the market.
