Guys let’s not be kidded here Edd knew all along what was happening he has DD on speed dial, He told him that he wanted McKenna but knew he wouldn’t be available until next yr so be happy with MON until then, another yr of sticky sheets Edd and sweet dreams. ?.
{Ed007's Note - ?? I do think with what's happening - and not happening at the Club that MON is a short term solution to steady the boat because there is some major changes on the horizon, just a hunch/suspicion I have ?♂️

Edd I always thought that DD had a grudge against Brendan no doubt fuelled by Lawell who was unhappy for the part Brendan played in Baby Lawells downfall.
If that was the case do you therefore think that DD is now refocused again?
{Ed007's Note - I think there's moves on for either DD to sell up or retire or relinquish control in some way - there is definitely some weird things going on & strange things afoot in my humble opinion.
The Haughey/McStay thing, the share price fluctuations, an interim Chairman with no mention or hint of a replacement, an invisible CEO that is supposedly off to UEFA soon, rumours/murmurs that Baby Desmond has $hat the bed and doesn't want involved now, maybe/hopefully the supporters reaction to DD's choice as manager in Keane including at corporate level has finally shown him his time is up, the straw that broke the Kaiser's moustache ?♀️
Is the MON appointment someone that they all know will steady the ship, keep the focus on the team while the shenannigans of a possible takeover or power struggle go on behind the scenes?}

Ed, sadly I don't think Desmond is going anywhere unless he is unwell, which I don't see any sign of.
The Haughey idea is an interesting one but if Desmond wants he can ensure that the fans never get a voice on the board. Let's say the fans manage to get enough shares to have a voice, all Desmond has to do is issue new shares and dilute the fans holding, thus preventing their voice. That is not to say he would do that but he strikes me as a spiteful prick.
The only thing that is shifting him is if other large shareholders turn against him but even that I don't see happening at the moment, as the share price is massive at the moment.

The other shareholders don’t need to turn against anyone, all we want is accountability for poor performance, poor managers and players cop it while these people get off Scott free, (we =me and my opinion) those shareholders stayed quiet during all of last seasons nonsense and throughout several poor windows under various managers, I’m surprised in a sense of self preservation some didn’t speak out, the argument is tho that they all in one club and united which is scary as there’s been clear issues, at one point I thought maybe the money in bank was for baby Desmond to have a spree if he was given the reigns by his dad, the issues around Nicholson and hargreaves for me mean we can’t really move forward or out of status quo so the mon appointment makes sense in that terms, I’m very much just a fan that cares about results over who owns/ runs club, I’m excitied (like I was last summer lmfao) to what preseason brings, like a kid every year waiting to get back to cp, if that makes me a happy clapper or a sap I don’t care, if there is changes afoot as long as instability doesn’t follow then so be it, be interesting to see peoples views tho if it did bring instability, especially the ones that a screaming for full on change (which in opinion is a minority but a devisive one)

The rumours have been flying around in the business community that he's been putting out the feelers for potential buyers for about the last 18 months now and were seemingly exacerbated with the goings on at the AGM, where he saw that the fan's have had enough of him and his wimp of son's crap.
