Only our football fans can turn whst was a up n down season eventually winning the league, let's face it against the odds, we were 3rd favourites going into the split something that should be a joyous occasion into a hooligan fest.
The pitch invasion was always going to happen, especially on how we won the league, emotions spill over. I don't know how you stop that, other than erecting nets in front of the fans then it becomes a safety issue.
No it's the morons, the neanderthals, the knuckle daggers who end up down at the Trongate, fighting amongst each other, drinking, climbing all over street furniture, leaving an absolute mess behind, then fighting with the police, throwing bottles at someone doing their job when the morons throwing the bottles shouldn't be there at all. But these morons will be the 1st to moan and complain if they are assaulted by the police because of their own actions.
I watched live an idiot in yellow shorts goading the police, pulling down his shorts and showing his backside. Hopefully they catch him and he gets charged with some sort of indecency charge.
They embarrass Celtic Football Club and give others the ammunition to detract from what should a massive achievement getting highlighted and spoken about.
I say massive achievement, because of where we've been this season.
Yes there will be people on here who don't agree with my view, which is fine it's all about opinions. But anyone who brings the name of my club into the gutter I have no time for.

Agreed. A sober reminder for me that although the currants are a few notches above us or any other team for that matter, in terms of it's hooligan element, we ain't squeaky clean for various reasons. Embarrassing.

I don't mind a pitch invasion when people are jubilant at winning something.
I recall Scotland beating England at wembley, mass pitch invasion and goal posts and pitch taken back to Scotland on the train and it went down in folk lore and all Scots I have spoken to are proud of that.
So for me the pitch invasion was not a problem. However, I did not think there was any need to run upto the hearts players and gode them. Just celebrate with your own.

Next season we will probably see bans brought it as legislation for anyone going on the pitch. I've personally never had the urge to run onto the park (Probs wouldn't even make it nowadays lol) but each to their own.
