Watching Chris Sutton earlier on the Celtic Fan Content site on YouTube, he gets it absolutely spot on. This potential league and cup double will make our board think they have achieved something this year. The only thing they have presided over is a shambles of a season where a veteran manager has had to come in twice to save it.
If MON does the double, it will be his swansong for a very successful retirement!

Good point mate. Get behind the team for last 3 games and make sure intense pressure is applied on the board straight after the SC final and through the break. Them parasites are that up themselves they will certainly believe they have done a great job this season.
If we win the league its down to one man and that's o'neill.

They have another thing coming if they think all has been forgiven and things are going to return to normal. The people I know have merely put things on ice until the league is decided and I have personally sworn that my family and me won't be back while the Desmond's are there.

I get your anger and sentiments to the board. Don't let those parasites remove you from the team we love. Truthfully I've never supported Celtic and Celtic had a functioning board room.

I said it before on here, winning the league will be used by the board to say they got it wrong with the Frenchman but acted quickly and decisively to get rid of him, get in some stability and that decision won us the title. They got it right!
The biggest issue with that is that they will truly believe it.
There will be no apology and no acceptance or admission that they have put the future of the club in a precarious position with a business and recruitment strategy years out of date and their treatment of fans. The fans who can see through tgem for what they are. Out of date and irrelevant.
Whether we win or come 2nd this is a huge summer for the club.
Change has to happen as the clubs around us will recognise we are at a crossroads and they will improve.
The baby club demonstrated this season that by only investing 10m they challenged us.
We cannot continue along this path as is it a totally unsustainable plan.
It has to start with a change of Manager, recruitment team and policy and a change of board with a new modern business strategy.
Storing money is not good business and neither is buying cheap, it is a false economy when you do it on a large scale.

The board angered me that much this season that I had to step back from the club I love because it was affecting my moods. It was at that point that I decided to stop watching, stop attending and stop putting money in.
I can't say what will happen in the future and I may well change my mind but at the moment I have decided not to be back while the Desmond's are there, as they are a cancer in our club. Obviously I still want the team to do well and the fans to have things to celebrate.
I must admit I am glad of my decision as I have been much happier and it has allowed me to focus on other things I enjoy.

Joe it sounds like your significant other wrote that last sentence… button yer lip and renew! Next year will be exciting because no matter what there is a rebuild and new manager.
Plenty of money for it even without selling nygren Hatate and Engels. I hope they keep all 3, Hatate the least so plenty to be happier about if and when we get this league over the line.

That may be so but the way the Desmond's have ran the club and treated the fans is unforgivable for me. They should not be allowed to get away with it and as I can't remove them, I have removed myself. Anything the fans do to put pressure on them has my full support.
