Strachan. very good but I believe if he had the players at his disposal as rodgers and oniell he'd could possibly have won so much more. but same could be said of ther other two of the players big jock had.
I think Strachans personality and his time at aberdeen when they sometimes destroyed us never won him the praise and admiration I think he deserved. big ange if he stayed he could have surpassed them all bar big jock but was very good in his short time. lastly Barnes elite world class in his prime. pity it wasn't in management.

Was Barnes not trying to play systems before our time?
I think he was being laughed at for playing like a 4-2-3-1 formation when everyone else was only playing a 4-4-2 to 4-3-3.
Maybe he was making it too complicated at that time.
