Steven McLean will be our referee on Sunday at Dundee.
Strangely the VAR appointment hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Douglas Ross is a linesman.
Celtic have only won one of the last six games McLean has been our referee and zero wins this season.

Matthew MacDermid has now been confirmed as doing VAR on Sunday.
The Dundee United defeat was our 1st in front of spectators since Nick Walsh refereed his first Celtic game 9.5 Years ago.
Celtic did however lose at Ibrox 4-1 during lockdown when Rookie Walsh wrongly Sent Off Calmac after only 26 minutes.
Calmac received a 2nd yellow for trying to stop a promising attack but the goal was still scored.
Advantage was played but he still seen Red which was a mistake by Walsh.
A straight Red Card can be given but not a 2nd yellow card.
Crawford Allen rewarded Walsh with a Scottish Cup Final confirmed appointment only 2 weeks later.
( final was 3 weeks later )
Nick Walsh record is now 2 defeats from 46 Celtic games.
Celtic were terrible at Tannadice but I feel the baldy pitch gave the home team a big advantage and more than a team with a plastic pitch.
I’ve mentioned a few times about Dundee United only having a 50.7% successful pass rate but yet still managed 19 shots at goal which is crazy.
They obviously had a game plan on their own pitch which worked a treat.
I do feel Celtic were unlucky to visit Dundee United on that pitch and not Sevco or Hearts.
Walsh has had 57 Sevco games and they’ve had 9 defeats although 6 of those defeats have been against Celtic.

Pitch was the same for both teams. Our squad is stronger.

I don’t agree the pitch is the same for both teams when Dundee United have been playing on their baldy pitch for several weeks.
Falkirk will be the only club next season to be playing on a plastic pitch due to the SPFL shockingly allowing it.
No Advantage there then.

Red red red should not be near any of our games he's crooked.

Buzz,
You’re clutching at straws my friend.
In their previous three fixtures at home two of the worst teams in the league Kilmarnock and Aberdeen left with a draw and lowly Spartans lost out by the odd goal in the cup.
Even Spartans scored while we barely had a shot on target. ?.

Maybe clutching at straws because I still believe Hearts and Sevco would’ve also dropped points on that surface.
Dundee United also beat St. Mirren,
the home match before they played Celtic and with 18 shots at goal.
Looks like they found a better approach with all that practice ?.

I don’t know what the surface was like when Hearts won 3-0 there although if memory serves me correctly I think United had a man sent off.
How we yearn for the days when pitches/ refs/ var were irrelevant as we had so much talent in the team nothing could stop us. ?.
