Celtic interim Chairman was made an Official statement.
Brian Wilson is still wearing blinkers and can only see the Celtic Board’s side of the story.
His statement only proves that they have no intention of a reconciliation and are only kicking the can down London Road.
He would love the Celtic Collective to sit back and do nothing while him and his cronies do the exact same but that’s not going to happen.

Yep, they are just trying to buy time. Collective should be ramping things up on Sunday and every match going forward.

Instead of staging protests that disturb the game and players why don't the fans protest at the end of the game and stay in the ground when the game finishes. Refuse too leave for a set amount of time that would get better press attention. Just an idea.
{Ed007's Note - That has been suggested at the meetings mate ? But a few folks comebacks on it is - and this isn't from me, I think some folk thnk I'm running the show with what gets done lol - "what effect will that have, we need the protests to be noticed" & the place is empty at 80 mins anyways. Going in late or leaving early has also been suggested but I personally would be against the leaving early, that definitely goes against backing the team imo.}

If "ramping things up" means disruption to the game itself, I think that's madness, and only makes it harder for us to win the game. Or maybe people are bigger green brigade fans than they are Celtic fans ?
The board and green brigade can have their head to head. Main priority for us the fans should be backing the team.
{Ed007's Note - Whether the GB get back in or not, that won't stop the protests - you do realise the Fans Collective started before the GB ban? The GB ban is partly a retaliation tactic to the Fans Collective and a personal problem Mark Hargreaves has with TWO young lads from his time as a police officer.
The Collective was set up to force change at the way Celtic is ran as a Club, Lawwell already fell on his sword and gave the fans the kudos for him resigning so we/they must be doing something right, at least Wilson is willing to man up and talk face to face to people.
People need to stop looking at this as a Board v GB situation, there's enough information out for anyone to understand that.}

I get that ed, I still stand by not interfering with the game itself. There's a chance we can win the league here. Protest at half time even. Most fans agree with the majority of what the collective want, but things that hinder the team don't get much backing.
{Ed007's Note - Here's a question, not directly at you as such mate and btw, everything in the Fans Collective meetings is put to a vote & open to any questions, trust me there's nobody bullying/forcing anything on anyone.
eople talking about protests before and after games, where should that happen?
Suggestions of protests outside the ground before & after games and the next thing the board have their wives, kids & grandkids pics all over place being "harrassed" & "terrified" etc etc which just shows the fans in a bad light again feeding into the negativity so many crave.
We do need to find a balance - the GB situation is being used as a shield and deflection tactic by the board imo.}

With the best will in the world it is impossible to separate the playing side of things from the need for change at board level and how this club is run. This is about the future we want for Celtic football club and it will inevitably involve some painful choices.
If you start to fragment the protests it will weaken any advantage we gain and that is exactly what the board are already trying to do.

I will be witholding my support and money indefinitely until the time Desmond is removed. To me that sends the biggest message to the board. Once they see the money drying up and the stadiums emptying, they have no choice but to go.

I still think (only my personal opinion ) that boycotting games is the only way forward, and before I get shot down yes I understand how it will effect the team but what other real way do we have to show the level of utter rage we have about where our club is at now.

Votes of no confidence, letters to the board, noisy protest does nothing for these blind and deaf board members. Keep the protest up, for sure but the only thing that talks with them is money and the disappearance of it. We really need to stick to our guns with this one. Come ST renewal time we all know that the thought of losing your book is too much for most so it has to be done the other way.
Absolutely zero money on kits, merchandise, match day extra spending and removing yourself from the HCTS is the only option left.
I definitely will not be spending another penny in the Celtic shop or at the ground until there is a sea change in the boardroom.

It just shows how hard it is for fans to protest. I think it might be easier if we weren't in the running for the league too. We all want the same thing success for the club, it would be great if there was a truce where the GB are allowed back in, protests are on hold, whilst the collective continue talks with the board behind the scenes.
It would be easier maybe to resolve with the league in the bag .

It's a really difficult decision mate. It highlights how hard it is for fans to legitimately protest. It might be easier if we weren't running for the league.
It would be an advantage for everyone maybe if the GB were allowed back in, protests were on hold until the end of the season, whilst talks continue with the collective behind the scenes. If we all want the same thing surely that at least could be agreed.
{Ed007's Note - That sounds all well and good but if there's no promises or signs of change what can the fans do after the season has ended? If we win the league folk will say "What are you complaining about" etc.... and the cycle will just continue on.}

I know it have been shot down before for saying that what is going on affects the players performance no matter how professional you are or how well paid you are.
Can you imagine getting yourself all phsych'd up in the changing room, then in the huddle, the whistle blowing and immediately you have to stop and help get balls off the pitch and then start over again.
I know I would be hacked off if it was me and the equivalent happened to me at work over and over.
That is bad enough but then getting booed and abuse shouted at you.
The atmosphere in the ground has not been good for a while but lately it has been awful.
We are to blame and we cannot use the absence of the GB as an excuse.
I think the majority of fans are just wanting this mess to be over but do not believe the status quo is acceptable.
We have seen over the years that our players seem to raise their game when the crowd is right behind them. I know in an ideal world they could ignore it and get on with it but I don't think it is that simple.
Players 30 to 40 years ago were built different, players today are not that tough or more importantly, loyal.
I am in agreement that there is need for change at our club but is the cost of that change going to cost the club more than we expect or really want.
I do not know what the answer is, I really do not. Is fan ownership the answer, I am not convinced, what about another billionaire replacing DD, I am definitely not convinced.
Do you guys know what your idealistic club ownership/ setup would or should look like.
