Ross Desmond's statement at the AGM tells me that the board are not interested in resolving this. Meeting with the fans is just a ploy to buy them time.
My guess is they hope we win the league and some of the animosity dies down. My personal opinion is we need to ramp up the protests and boycotts and continue with not a penny more, if we want them out.

The AGM and particularly Ross Dermot's statement was an all time low and a total game changer. No way back from that not even an apology would suffice. They showed their hand.
I was all for calling a truce and backing O’Neil and the team for league games but the board are doing nothing to meet in the middle. Personally I boycotted merchandise and European packages and haven't bought as much as a pie at the games. I’m managing so far to separate the board I detest with a passion from the team we all love but I’m just about hanging on to my season ticket I’ve had for 40 years by the skin of my teeth. Ultimately you’re right - protests and boycotts will need to be ramped up if we want change - they ain’t leaving voluntarily and Despot Desmond is a hard nut to crack.

I could have written that word for word as I have taken the same actions.
Whether to renew my season ticket or not is constantly on my mind.
The board have taken away the enjoyment of following my club.
For what’s if worth it also would not shock me if the GB are finished and will never be allowed back in. I think guys on the waiting list will be given the opportunity to replace them in Celtic Park.

You’re spot on - the battle is for the very soul of Celtic.
It’s over half a century since I was first in Celtic Park. Does that club still exist is the question for me?
What I’m loathed to give up is the whole social aspect - a stout before the game with ma laddie and friends I’ve met in the East End of Glasgow for many many years.
But I’m struggling with lack of ambition when Ross Desmond tells we can’t afford to swing and miss - European participation is success - this is as good as it gets? They don’t believe where the support think is the aim and where we’re trying to get to is possible ie. competing in Europe. Analogy - if the Catholic Church declared tomorrow that they no longer believed in an afterlife or heaven but could you please continue to turn up and put your hard earned cash in the plate would I go back to Mass?
That’s before we discuss the boards negligence and incompetence or a 36 year old boy of a billionaire telling me the board are playing a blinder and I’ve contributed little to society and my only vocation in life is to be anti-establishment.
Where do you go from that statement?
The failure to back a legend in O’Neil in January and what he’s been left to work with then failing to let fans return despite his appeals is unforgivable. That midfield tonight is a recipe for a pumping.

Totally agree JFP. Like you I have had enough and the way I feel right now, I won't be back at Celtic park while the Desmond's are there and neither will my kids and we won't be spending a single penny.

There will be thousands of us feeling the same way.
It’s only that thought that gives us hope that we can force change but it will be a long battle.
