A question for our "GURU" Buzz a font of all knowledge lol
I see media already moaning (on behalf of Sevco) about the "unfairness" of post split fixtures, it looks like, based on last year, that Celtic are due 3 home games, while both Sevco and Hearts are due 3 away ties, it looks like some teams will get 3 away ties, based on teams in top six who have already played twice already
This is not a new thing, last year Celtic got 2 home 3 away so this year Celtic get the 3 home games
Buzz I am sure this is the SPFL own rules to ensure fairness am I right.

One club will play 20 home games and only 18 away this season and it definitely won’t be Celtic or Hibs.
For fairness to will need to be Falkirk or Motherwell.
This imbalance has happened 6 times in the last 20 years.
3 times a club has played 20 home games and only 18 away and 3 times a club has played 18 at home and 20 away games in a season in the Top 6.
My guess it will be Motherwell because Historically they were one of the clubs that only played 18 home games.
Sevco will need to play away for a third time to either Motherwell, Falkirk or Hibs.
Celtic will play one of those 3 clubs at home for a 3rd time after the split.
Maybe both Celtic and Sevco could visit Fir Park after the split to allow them to play 20 home games but then Falkirk or Hibs will visit Celtic Park for a 3rd time.
Or they could take the easy way and the same club will go to Celtic Park for a 3rd time and also host the latest Ibrox club for a 3rd time.
Also for fairness both Sevco and Hearts should be visiting Celtic Park after the split and Hearts should also be visiting Easter Road.
There’s no conspiracy because this has been happening since the 2000/ 01 season.
Celtic will have only 2 home matches after the split next season.
Falkirk have thrown a spanner in the works because the SPFL didn’t expect them to reach the Top 6.
If Aberdeen reach the top 6 instead of Falkirk it would work out much easier for the SPFL to work out the post split fixtures but that won’t happen now.

So would our 2 home games be against the Sevco and Hearts? I couldn't see them not doing that. There would definitely be an outcry.

Our home games should be Hearts and Sevco.
Also either Motherwell, Falkirk or Hibs would play at Celtic Park for a 3rd time this season.
Then we would play the 2 remaining clubs away from home.

Scrap this ridiculous league set up.
Bigger league with home and away fixtures only happening once.
Might actually see some improvement.
