A number on here would like to see the Motherwell manager at PH next season.
Would it not be inevitable that MON will be our DOF and Shaun be the head coach?
Would the latter be more acceptable?

I wish we had a young Martin O’Neill. He’s a dream to listen to. I don’t get the fear anymore that we are going to get beat as I did with Nancy. But to answer your question, I would prefer the Motherwell manager as his football style is great to watch.

Inevitable, no - but it's an option.
Personally, I think MON could be too old for DOF role, that's even if he wanted the gig.
If it was a straight choice between the current Motherwell manager and SM, I'd go for the Motherwell manager.
SM for me has done well as a No.2 but not as the manager.
Ange is still without a club and being mentioned from time to time, so who knows.
Given what has happened with Nancy, I don't see the board taking a gamble like that again, at least I'd hope not.
Time will tell.
