GB declined the offer to meet. Whole thing is a rubbishshow.

08 Feb 2026 14:51:37
This is helping no-one especially the players somethings got to give.

08 Feb 2026 15:00:21
I would have declined as well because the board are trying to fragment the support.

We’re football fans Joe - it is not the House of Cards - let’s simplify things a bit.

08 Feb 2026 16:37:39
Don’t be so naive, Albert. There is a Celtic collective made up of several supporters’ groups that have been working together to effect change at the club. In that context, it would make sense for the board to engage with the collective as a whole. Instead, they have chosen to hold talks with individual groups.

This approach risks fragmenting the collective voice and makes accountability more difficult, as it allows the board to present different narratives to different groups and reduces the ability to hold them to a shared set of commitments. Hence the reason I said they were right to reject the invite.

Joe the collective could be decent mediators but the gb issue is a ban based on certain behaviours, and has nothing to do with the collectives issues, your
Making it sound like the board have done something wrong by engaging the individuals they have banned, that single issue of the bans will only be resolved with dialogue around acceptable behaviours and agreements of entry with conditions I’d imagine, it’s nothing to do with collective and my thoughts which I could be wrong are you know the impact they specifically not being there is having and want the collective to weaponise it for the bigger cause,

08 Feb 2026 17:27:24
The board are poor at communicating but that has to change and the only way this mess gets sorted is by getting round the table before this season gets away from us, sick of all this rubbish.

08 Feb 2026 18:23:42
@jaa the green brigade ban has everything to do with the collective. The reason I say that is the green brigade are part of the collective and one of the demands of the collective is to get green brigade back in the stadium.

United we stand. Divided we fall.

P. s. why do you think people join a union and get the union to negotiate on their behalf?

08 Feb 2026 23:16:31
I don't profess to know a lot or anything as to why the GB are banned. I get they are part of the *Collective" for change at the club.

I could be mistaken and feel free to correct me as I'm sure someone will.

But the GB got banned for their alleged behaviour towards stewards and police. I don't know how that enquiry turned out and not unless any of you are involved in that enquiry or the incident then none of you can give a definitive answer on that.

But let the board and the GB sort the issues surrounding the GB and their alleged behaviour.

Let the "Collective" which the GB are part of concentrate on trying to sort the board.

2 different agendas as far as I can see.

For what it's worth, this may force Nicholson and McKsy out. But Desmond is going nowhere. Fan power worked with the Whites when Fergus got in. But this is nowhere near that situation. Then the club was 1 hour from going bust.
