If we get The Ox, would he replace Bernardo in the Europa league squad? Or have I got it wrong, can we add 3, or replace 3?

I am not convinced we need to take him. Not played a game since May last year, so will be miles from match fit.
Its a big risk, especially at this time in the season when we need players to hit the ground running. It could take him months to get match fit.
Why would we replace one of our players for Europa with him, if he's not ready to play.
On another subject, imagine signing for Celtic and expecting to be blown away with the match atmosphere, and pushed on by the roar of the crowd, to looking up at empty seats and hearing the away fans above your own.
Not sure a boycott is going to help the players. Not even sure it will affect DD tbh, they have the ST money and those unlucky not to have ST will probably take the opportunity to get to a game. Its a win win for them.
Can you imagine if the boycott had happened at Pittodrie, if the game had gone on.
A few hundred Celtic fans and a few thousand home fans watching. It would have been like playing during covid again and remember how that affected our players.
{Ed007's Note - Imagine signing for Celtic and expecting to be blown away with the match atmosphere, and pushed on by the roar of the crowd only to find that the people that create said atmosphere are banned from attending?
When was the last time the atmosphere at Celtic Park blew anyone away?
It's a myth and has been for years with too many supporters happy to rely on the GB to entertain them as part of their match day experience.
It's absolutely ludicrous to suggest any boycott will have an effect on the CP atmosphere because there isn't one for it to effect.}

A match fit Ox will be a tremendous addition to the team. Eds bang on regarding the current atmosphere at games due to the board acting like North Korea.

I wonder what they are protesting about at Livingston last night? ?.

spot on ed. people need to get up and sing if they want a atmosphere if you go to games and don't sing then ye can't complain about the atmosphere your a fan as well its down to you not just the green brigade
parkhead was rocking before the green brigade and it should still be rocking when there banned.
{Ed007's Note - 100% John. Far too many people turn up and just expect the GB (and BHOYS) to make the atmosphere like they are some kind of choir there to entertain the crowd, they're all happy to take pics and videos of them to share on social media for likes but when the group need some help then their true colours come through.}

Ed, bit sarcastic but that's your opinion and I accept and appreciate that but I am entitled to mine as everyone is on here.
I have said many times on here the atmosphere isn't great and will only improve when GB return, however seeing huge gaps in the stands will not improve how the players feel or react on entering the pitch.
Boycotting will only maintain GB being kept out. It will play into the childish tactics of the board.
A boycott will make things even worse imo.
{Ed007's Note - Then the players need to grow a set of balls, man up, take responsibility for their part in our problems and concentrate on winning games instead of worrying about the attendance - I'm sure the £1000s of cash hitting their bank account every month will give them some comfort.
And it's not sarcasm, you're romanticising the atmosphere at Celtic Park, even with the GB in the place is like a morgue most of the time, as I said this "great Celtic Park" atmosphere is an absolute myth and has been for years, even on CL nights you get a Walk On and then it's back to the same old same old, just sit and leave it to the Ultras.}

Spot on Ed, the last time CP was rocking was the Midweek game against the uns when we were 3 up at HT and that was about 3 years ago. The players are used to playing in Libraries especially since the GB ban came in, so any boycott won't affect them i wouldn't imagine.
{Ed007's Note - Yeah I'm not buying it at all. Do empty seats bother them at away games?
05 Feb 2026 14:59:18
I’m sure it’s replace 3.
05 Feb 2026 17:41:40
Ed, read your first paragraph, it was sarcasm, you probably broke your keypad writing it ??
While I accept your point/ s, I do shout and sing and get behind the players but I think we have a change in demographic, generational ST holders, no longer want to stand up and sing and just want to watch the game.
There choice I suppose, they paid their money.
I don't use social media, FB etc never liked it, can't be bothered with it.
{Ed007's Note - And what about the generational demographic change that has happened, from the Jungle days, having casuals through to the Football Factory generation and now the Ultras?
There's plenty of fans that want to stand up and sing, have you not seen the hope etc for a The Celtic End? Something else that will come down the line probably with the Collective, I wonder how many will be against that?}
