There's a constant whinging on here about most of our players . Schmeichael, Murray, McGregor, Engels, Nygren, Trusty, Maeda, Tounetki, Kenny, Hatate have all had it this season. give them a break, keep your frustrations for our incompetent board, a lot of those guys are being forced to play a hell of a lot of games because our squad is threadbare and lacks depth due to our p*** poor recruitment over the past year.
They have had to endure playing under the French clown in a system that was alien to them all. MON has them playing in their natural positions and we've taken 25 out of 27 pts in the league and managed some creditable European results under MON. There is no lack of effort from this group. Nowhere near as strong a squad as we should have but that's not the players fault.

To be fair stevie a lot of them have downed tools or have been shadows of their former selves. McGregor, Hatate, Maeda and Bernardo to name a few have looked miles off their best all season. For me this is down to them.

You missed balikwisha and I must say he has been a waste of money. ?
Schmeichel has been a shadow of himself since coming back from injury last season and both Maeda and hatate have been poor for most games this season.

The majority of this current first team squad has been on the slide with a steady decline in form since around February 2025.
Kyogo was sold last January and not replaced and the team noticebly started to struggle.
The run in to the title was a non event and culminated with the defeat to Aberdeen in the SC Final in May costing us the treble.
Issues with the board vs BR, the board vs the supporters, an absolute embarrassment of a summer transfer window and the scene was set for what followed.
Throw in BR leaving, MON coming in, the AGM, then Nancy, WOW Nancy, then MON again.
On the park, Hatate and Maeda in particular, to me, look like two players that want out. It's likely both of them and others will depart in the summer.
There is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that the talent and technical ability of our first team squad has been diluted in recent transfer windows, that has not happened by chance, it's been a calculated move by the board by either incompetance or arrogance, or possibly both.
If, as a club, on the footballing side we had a proper structure in place, we would be light years ahead domestically and could really focus on Europe, but we're not.
The media will say, 'it's great to see a competative league' Hearts and Sevco getting stronger blah, blah blah.
The fact is that whilst Hearts and Sevco have improved this season, we're in reverse due to the board, DD, in fighting, and a total lack of ambition as a club. The decision making by MN has been a series of sackable offences, he's that bad.
Put it into perspective;- Celtic has two current players, who, individually, have won more trophies than Hearts FC has in their entire history. The majority of posters on this site (myself included) weren't born when Hearts last won the league title.
As usual, all we can do is observe and see what this board does next.
