I would love Celtic to bring Giakoumakis back who scored again today for Taylor’s PAOK team but I sadly can’t see it happening.

Giakoumakis has now scored 11 goals from 24 games this season.
His record is an impressive One goal every 113 minutes with time he’s played on the pitch.

Giakoumakis would be our first choice striker and that’s what he craved before.

Giakoumakis is on loan to PAOK for the season and they will have the option to buy from a Mexican club.

The Greek transfer window doesn’t close until Late Friday night on February 6th a few days after ours.
Although we desperately need a striker in ASAP.

I would love to have him back, he was everything that Idah should have been, a big bustling centre forward that throws himself into the danger areas, but wasn't and didn't, but I don't think he will be back.

I was meaning for PAOK to have a few days for a replacement.
I agree aindoh but it’s a player we should be going for and Giakoumakis has said recently that he would love to play for Celtic again.

He missed loads chances too, I mind when we played shakter (the away leg) if spellings right, he missed right good few chances, I liked him but I’d like better, I know at this late stage we prob won’t get right enough, what the f has happened to our scouting and inability to sign the right players.

Big Giaka was a better out and out striker than Kyogo. Real poacher was a step above what we have right now.

I thought GG was excellent and not forgetting he was top scorer in Holland, the season prior to us signing him.

Get him on loan and a back up.

Kenny is nowhere near the level and every game he plays just underlines that fact.

To be honest I'd take Samaras back at the minute! He's probably still better than what we've got up front.

Ah the greek god. He was decent. I'd see him back in a second.

When you see how he has performed since he left, we missed a real opportunity by not giving him the pay rise he was promised.

He was big, mobile, decent pace and a knack for getting goals.

He saved us when Kyogo got injured, he was a real target man and scired vital goals and yet our club failed to live up to their promise and he left.

That is the type of striker we need now and Bamba is not that player imo.

MON is going to be hung out to dry. We need minimum 3 players (probably 4) and we will be lucky if we get one.

Other clubs seem to manage this quoite easily, because they have done their work in advance but yet MN leaves it to the last minute and we are scrambling for low cost loan deals.

World class at absolutely nothing.
