MON apparently has said that he wants new players in ASAP I hope that is true. For me most players need replaced I get they didn't know what Nancy was wanting BUT that doesn't excuse someone getting paid thousands of pounds a week to play football and can't pass a ball 4 yards without it going too the back of the player that it was ment to go or far too forward that's not down to a manager that's down to a players capability.

Said maloney and fotheringham have been working in background regarding signings. was the call to them from dd placed earlier than we think and put them on standby or just a throwaway comment by mon? He said semi jokingly if it was up to him he'd want 5 / 6 incomings but definitely squad needed supplementing.

Managers/ coaches out of work will always be looking potential signings in the event the get a job I would imagine.

Watched his press conference and as usual he spoke a lot of sense. Sincere, poignant and fully focused on the difficult job ahead fielding every question concisely to the media 'usual suspects'. Mindful of the fact we have less games than his previous short tenure and when asked about a three-horse-race, was quick to mention Motherwell; well positioned after their win against us.
Empathetic about Nancy, with a deft mention of players winning games no matter what formation and as you say highlighting the need for immediate recruitment if we are to forge some sort of recovery. I followed that up by watching a John Hartson documentary including his heroics and affiliation with Celtic and together, they made me feel the best I've felt after Saturday.

I'm just glad Celtic are not giving Tisdale the chance to waste more money with poor signings.

Buzz I couldn't agree more however was tisdale's job ie signings being hindered by the board such as very little money allowed so he had to go for bargain basement options.
