Delighted with the great news today that both Nancy and sleeping beauty have been sacked.
I was worried when there was no news this morning.
Celtic still remain 2/ 1 second favourites for the title with Ladbrokes despite the news today.
I expect Celtic to win 5 IAR now and that is generous Odds.

I think it will be an interim appointment until the end of the season.
I reckon it will be Martin O'Neill in the short term if he wants it.
He might however not like being messed about and there's rumours he wants an 18 month contract.
Personally I would ask big Ange again to be our permanent Manager.
Maybe his head is in a better place after getting sacked twice since the summer.
Martin/ Shaun or Big Ange would be the safest options that would highly likely deliver Celtic another title.

It would be unfair on MON if he was asked again, just to help DD out.
Get a new guy with experience in Europe, not another master of chaos.

I reckon O'Neil would want assurances, such as budget and control over signings this window. Would the board be willing to relinquish the control to someone who is competent? Probably not.

Good shout Buzzbomb.
Personally, I see an interim manager (a safe pair of hands) as the best option, short term, as it enables us to hopefully retain the league title, whilst giving time for the best candidate to be appointed in the summer.

In my humble opinion MoN or Ange are the ONLY options that could take ANY heat/ bad feeling away from the board. Get either of them in, lift the GB ban and with Sleeping Beauty and Nancy gone we are ALREADY in a FAR better place.

Rumour MON would want 18 month contract to come back.
Do they offer it or look at someone like McKenna.
I am not convinced that going backwards again would be the right answer but the last time our board looked at a younger modern manager we ended up with the useless French man .
Can we trust them to get it right this time.
At least Dr Doolittle has gone as well so his input won't help us sign another chaotic disaster.
