I read that we currently have 11 (yes ELEVEN) players away on International duty, add to that all our injuries and our squad is down to the bare bones.
At least our Martin seems to have recognised this and is trying where possible to rotate squad.
But we really need to get to January and hopefully have two or three first team ready players to come in straight away.

As much as I have enjoyed the MON effect and the domestic results under him and Shaun Maloney, these International breaks don't only carry risk of injury (what game doesn't these days) , but they disrupt any momentum and rhythm we seem to generate.
Add to that the uncertainty over the permanent manager position amid the conveyor belt of long term hamstring absences and it is going to be a very testing and possibly uncertain few weeks.
January is usually a more difficult 'window' to obtain available quality players and we currently have the same incompetent assembly that messed up in the summer. I can only hope.
