Bobo yes ronnie is long gone and I've moved on . but so it seems have the modernisation he tried to implement have long gone with him and we've again regressed to an absolute shambles and near laughing stock . all elite level athletes in all range of sports employ sports scientists data analysts etc etc . dieticians aren't employed for calorie counting or to tell you not to eat kebabs . but to give you the most modern nutritional information availabe design meal plans to go with your personal body needs . what to eat when to eat how to cope with your physical make up your workload post match pre match and resting so as to reach an optimum performance levels etc etc this was only one of the things he tried bring In probably not to the extent of real elite level athletes but it was surely a step In the right direction? is modernisation to much to ask for a supposed professional football club.

or do we want still to be the days of having a quick fag at ht then straight to boozers after game . I'm not an expert or trying to preach in any of this . i was only commenting on something tbe match commentators said mtyjland were experts at and lots of big clubs have been visiting them to look at their methods . yet it was something ronnie was trying 1o implement over a decade ago.

Tonight's result is just another indicator of our regression from where we were actually heading.
MON and Sean are not Penn and Teller. They can't magic up a solution to our woes.
We are now at the stage of looking at the next couple of seasons without a good few of our current crop.

That is a massive rebuild needed.
Beating a garbage Rangers team was basically papering over the cracks.
Time for massive change.

Ronnie deserves great credit for giving Calmac and KT their Celtic debuts and also a 17 year old Tony Ralston.
Ronnie also allowed Jack Aitchison to become the youngest goalscorer in our entire History.

He also tried to bring in good Scottish players like Ryan Christie and Stuart Armstrong amongst a few others.

At one time the Scotland National squad was bulging with Celtic players and that's when we were winning the Quadruple Treble.

In recent times Celtic have allowed a few of the best young Scottish talent to go abroad who are now worth 8 figure sums each.
We have then paid over the Odds for inferior foreign players compared to those Scottish players.

Ronnie's modernisation got us papped out the Cup semi by a first divison club that was only a few years old, Just saying?.

Someone on here commented on the differnce in wages between both clubs. It just shows spending more doesn't guarentee quality. The real difference is having scouts with good eyesight!
