If successful what is the end game of the fans . ger rid of dd lawall Nicholson etc? . as much as the present lot have their far too prudent (being kind) on transfer side failings I do believe dd and lawal run the club well and have best interests of club at heart . so what is the way forward . is there anyone waiting to step in financially are there people in wings better than lawell etc waiting to step in . would the fans be united if victors could the fans financially run club? . I want change but could total change be a disaster? Ed anyone else . Are there any whispers or rumours of the look of the club after the dust has settled?

Good question. I don't believe though that in this case its better the devil you know. The current regime clearly don't have the ambition to take us to the next level.
The problem is that Scottish football is looked down on - a view that is too common, even amongst our fellow Scots. Chris Sutton, for example, is a fantastic ambassador of our game, and we need many more to follow suit and talk our game up. Unfortunately there is a lack of money and, in my opinion, the game is gone.
Having said this we do need a change. We MUST stay the dominant team domestically but there's really no reason why we can't alter our strategy and be far more savvy in the transfer market. We already sell potential players the chance to use us as a stepping stone.
My hope is the football world becomes a more even playng field but I can't see it if i'm honest.
Going forward, we need to have a more fan-based ownership but also must remain a viable business.

I think the difficulty is, do we want someone to buy DD's shares, who then spends and borrows and we end up in debt and shadowing the club across the city, run by shadowy, unnamed individuals, who strip the club and walk away, because that could happen to them again and why would we be different.
If our current board were forward thinking like Ajax, Brugge and other similarly run clubs, we could speculate to accumulate, without putting ourselves in debt.
We just need to remove several of the current board and replace them with modern thinking football people, who can drive us forward in a sustainable way.
It really isn't difficult, instead of buying 10 x 2-3 million players, buy 3 x 8-10 million players each window or each summer.
Those quality players will improve our European performances while keeping us on top domestically and eventually making us great money.
Our board are supposefly good businessmen, surely they can see that continually driving mediocrity will only result in reduced quality, performance and income.

Those great business men cost us a potential £300mill over last 15 years by ineffective leadership and they point blank refuse to admit their failures.

We just need them to spend more of the 75% relevant income allowance, rather than 45%.
Unfortunately, they get more joy watching the bank balance rise than seeing our team flourish.

Mason, that is the real head scratcher for me, they claim to be real Celtic men who are doing their best for Celtic, but in reality they are not, they are holding us back and their failure to move forward and modernise will come back to bite us at some point in the future.
The majority of Celtic fans are not focused on the club across the city and what they are doing, unlike our board, what we want is for the club to be the best it can be, to live up to the history and reputation that previous Celtic teams built, not to be a laughing stock, losing to clubs who shouldn't beat our reserve team.
A CL night should have fans feeling a sense of potential and optimism and not fear and dread, watching through your fingers.
We are all sensible enough to know we can never win the CL but to at least qualify and be competitive in matches should be the minimum standard we as a club should expect and achieve.
We cannot expect other Scottish teams to sit still whilst we tread water winning donestic trophies, because at some point there will be real title challengers and we could be caught.
