There are positives to take from today, the speed of play was vastly improved, Maeda looked closer to his usual self back out wide& showed he could fill in righthand side well enough. Saracchi looks a real good player, link up with Touneki was good& played the inverted role well.
He should be starting mid-week as KT has been honking.

I'm not feeling positive after yesterday as protests are going to ramp up and things can go toxic very quickly.

At game yesterday we already had fans shouting abuse at the board, banners and a silent protest. The board are hugely mistaken if they think this is just going to blow over and they can get to January and make a few signings and things will be all right.

The only thing that is making this go away is a new board and Desmond to either step down or change the strategy on how the club is ran. Too many fans are tired of their voices being ignored and watching the board drop the ball time after time.

The issue with all this silence is the affect it is having on the team.

It is not fair to them. We are football fans and when at the match we should be right behind the fans for 90 minutes.

The fight is with the board NOT the team.

I agree the atmosphere is not great at games just now, there is a clear split with fans, contrary to what has been said about the unity.

The silence only does one thing, it affects the team and no one can argue with that and tbh defend it.

The fan groups need to decide if hurting the team is worth it in the long run and is it going to have any affect on the board.

The board are hurting the team far more than the fans. That is why they need removed with immediate effect.

Joe, realistically we all know that will not happen. Hurting the team, only hurts the team, the board will not be affected.

Results will be affected because the team will not feel supported but the board, I cannot see it.

The next game is an even longer silence and the third will be 32 minutes.

We keep dropping points we will fall way behind Hearts and sevco may catch up, is that what the majority of Celtic fans wants, I don't think so.

We start losing games, confidence regresses and fans will turn on the players, and it all will be the result of what action fans took in the first place.

A catch 22 for the players.

Surely the fans have the right to protest in whatever way they choose? Just as the fans have the right not to take part in the silent protest.

For the record I hold no sway over what the fans do or don't do. All I know is that I will join the protest if I am attending the game, just as I did when our out of touch board tried to hire Bernard Higgins despite how he treated our fans and likewise, when they appointed John Reid.

{Ed007's Note - For me personally I think the silent protests are a bit pointless although I'll back anything decided, but let's be honest about it, half the folk moaning about it sit on their hands during the game and expect the GB and BHOYS to make the noise/atmosphere. It's basically only those 2 groups silence that would be noticeable.}
