That’s a new one on me. Is it closer to a Guinness or Murphy’s or a Bellhaven Black? Have they got the wee widget?

Ever tried Young's Double Chocolate Stout? Peculiar thing with it is that it tastes the same going down as it does coming up.

Ever wondered when you buy a slab of Guinness some of the cans taste smooth and some are a bit bitter? It's because up to not that long ago it was being canned in Nigeria - it was the travelling that unsettled the contents.

In the good old days when Guinness was a proper pint it was said Guinness didn’t travel well . For as long as I can remember Guinness was far superior in the Irish Republic compared to Guinness in the Demi - Province which in turn was far far superior to the pint in England, Scotland and Wales .
The Dublin pint was just superb, but over the last 4/ 5 years I have got average enough pints in Dublin and I don’t think they match the quality of yesterday anywhere . The kegs are tossed around and the bar person doesn’t give the pint pulling the gentle loving care it needs and deserves.

Can relate to that Wee Dessie 50. I went to the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin and the pint I got in there wasn't the best one I had. I went to a cafe/ restaurant in the centre of Dublin and the pint there was spot-on. It's just your luck getting one that satisfy's the rubbish out of you. I've noticed the restaurants where I live are going back to Murphys due to price which pleases me as I also love it too.
