That Panathanikos kit is a belter. Why can't Adidas give us that as an away kit.

Worse than that the result is game changer. Assuming they don’t lose away they’re on the same footing as us. Will that be a warning shot to the forehead of the Celtic board? Nae it wullnae be.
PS: please spend some of our £100m on a first choice striker.

Even if they go through they are only in 3rd round qualifiers, not the Play offs. Agree that I wouldn't mind seeing us spend a few quid?.
22 Jul 2025 23:17:28
Don't forget we've sold and sent on loan a fair few as well, we've literally spent heehaw,
22 Jul 2025 23:20:10
Do they not have a further 2 rounds to play to our 1?
23 Jul 2025 04:52:58
Apologies correct they’ve an extra round. My fear is with Idah, Kenny, Osmand and Maeda able to play through the middle that Yamada will be seen as a first choice striker. I’d heard we can expect two wingers but we’re done as far as bringing in another striker goes.

They've another 2 qualifiers after the Greek game next Wednesday should they progress. but forget them, it's what we do, it's what business the board conclude for us. fair amount of deadwood shipped out by now with a few more likely to go. it's high time now some proper quality is brought in. that's 3 wingers we've let go in a matter of weeks khun, Palma and yang. add to that nawrocki lagerbielke. given we've taken in near on £30 million without including champions league money, strip sales of which there will likely be the yearly 4 or 5 strips, training gear and sold out season tickets once again. financially there is no excuse acceptable not to be going and getting the quality for areas that we know we need and rodgers wants. we're a couple of weeks or less away fae the league opener, things need to start moving.

Maybe we can get another £9 million striker like Idah or a £1.5 striker like Kyogo.
23 Jul 2025 08:33:48
Concentrating solely on us; and we must go into the season stronger than last. Imperative to replace Kyogo. Khun and Jota, while adding more quality and strength back four and middle of the park.
There have been some encouraging signs in the last two games, but many of these guys will not feature regularly.
23 Jul 2025 08:59:14
Kyogo cost Celtic £4.5M.
23 Jul 2025 09:57:30
And idah hit 20 goals and some big ones at that.
23 Jul 2025 10:13:10
You are right, my mistake.

The least important thing about any Celtic transfer window is the amount we spend over-all . If we qualify for Champions League, and I certainly hope so, we will be playing against top teams from the top 5 leagues who can pay for one player than we could afford to pay for a whole team .
What we have to do to have a good window is improve the areas of the team that BR thinks he needs to improve as he considers that area of team is just not good enough . Also BR needs to identify area of team that he can have as good as possible as he wants to try to outplay opponents from that area.
We know our transfer funds will for foreseeable future be the most in SPL. We also know that as far as CL is concerned our transfer funds are very low apart from teams who are like ourselves from weak leagues with poor money raising abilities, because of that we have to buy wisely not necessarily pay high.
