Would rather have Paul McKenna.
He could put the opposing forwards in a trance before they get to the 18 yard box.

Weather Rodgers goes or not we still need a winning team full of quality for the next guy. Mangers / coaches now a day's get players given to them the majority of times and have to work with them.

I see the old lazy journalism is in full swing due to the fact that the Orc Media have no idea who we are going for.

Why are we discussing our Manager leaving. No one has suggested he is going, not him, not the club only anti Celtic bloggers, in an attempt to unsettle the players and fan base.
Even if he was, our club would not freeze what we are doing re recruitment until another Manager comes in.
I think he will be waiting until the transfer window closes, as that is the priority just now and then he will speak to the club, if he hasn't already done so,

I would be extremely disappointed if we gave 2 seconds consideration to signing McKenna. He simply is not good enough, turns like a 1975 Montego and just as fast.
All the defenders we have are better and we all want an upgrade in them.

@Maeda just had a look at how many Montego's are left in the UK and found there are 53 - McKenna probably being one of them.
{Ed007's Note - And British Leyland launched the Montego in 1984.}

Greentrees Many managers and coaches get players given to them and have to make the best of them .
Many managers and coaches spend a lot of the time in discussions with Directors of Football or people of similar titled people and the Director of Football arranges to sign players best suited to what he and manager had discussed.
Many Boards give their Manager strict budgets in spending money and in wages for football staff and keep checking manager is staying within limits .
The first option is least popular and often results in regular change in managers.

Can remember watching Neil Lennon sitting in the technical area shaking his head and showing no motivation at all. His interview at the end of the match he said "He's not my player. " I work in transport and if my Director had come to me and asked why I wasn't utilising a driver - got a feeling I know how that would end up.

OK smart a**e Ed, a 1974 Hillman Avenger. ?.
{Ed007's Note - My dad had a (brand new may I add lol) red Montego estate and I knew it was later than the 70s lol
