Hearing CCV saying he needs total rest. In hindsight ALL our players BR wanted to start in Cup final should have been rested when league was won. Maeda looked done in the final as did a few others.

In hindsight, the team that humped Aberdeen at Pittodrie might have been the answer, but the supporters would have went raj bongo if that team had lost. IMO, we have been running on empty since April with a few exceptions. Over the season the players gave everything.

We had plenty of games after league was won to rest players . give run outs to squad players try out youths before the final . but the manager refused to do it.

Celtic have been running on empty, maybe a quibble since when, certainly sometime 6 to 10 weeks ago.

Deep river Bhoy2 Resting all players from league was won, may have resulted in us losing Cup Final by 3-4 goals and two or three rested players suffering bad hamstring injuries, resulting in them out for rest of year . But nobody knows what can happen in the future as far as football is concerned .
Either BR is good enough and experienced enough to decide how to prepare for the games ahead .
This season team had too many game pre new year . We had great wining style easy on the eye . Over the last while we had too many matches lacking our pressure, quick passing and intelligent running off ball . Hopefully we can have something sorted out for next season.
