22 years ago today Celtic lost to a Portuguese side in the UEFA Cup final.
22 years from then a Celtic connection, Ange, is up against a Portugeezer in Ruben Amorim.
If I have a preference of who wins tonight I'd be looking for a reversal and hope Ange does it. That way his prediction of winning a trophy in his second year will come true.

Well said Des, another rat who left Celtic, just like the current rat in charge lol, but I suppose he's not as big a rat as the current rat, cos the former rat at least stayed until the end of the season lol, hope that gave you a laugh Des? Lol.

Letterkenny be careful with the term “rat” that term got a good man chased out of the BBC after lobbying by the actual rulers of the western world .
The one good thing about the “ rodent “ who left us mid-season, he saw the errors of his way and returned as a more experienced and better manager and is currently in the process of building probably the best ever team at Celtic .
Of course I am laughing at the continuous success of our club founded in the 1880’s still the one club and compared to our Glasgow neighbours who founded in 2012 from the broken remains of liquidated Rangers 1872 and who are currently in 2025 trying to raise millions to pay off Directors who want their loans paid off and are hoping that vultures with more money than sense buy 51% of Sevco’s shares.

I've already praised Lineker's action's on here Des, as for the mob across the city i don't give them a second thought, with our financial clout we'll continue to dominate Scottish football for years to come, no matter what rat we have in charge lol.
