Read ndidi has a £9 million relegation release clause activated . Never really seen the guy but some on here talked well of him . is he worth pursuing?

He is on around 75k per week, so probably out of our price range as that is double what our highest earner is on. Would also be expensive for someone of his age, for us.

Younger hungrier trading profile I get all the points but proven experience at a good age to replace / compliment calmac who isn't getting younger and to help younger players coming through I think is also needed . at 27 similar age would any body not want hatate to sign a 4/ 5 deal I know circumstances are but different eg transfer fee needed wage differences . can we not fit all profiles as we have the money.

He'd be an absolutely quality signing. Not many players across Europes top leagues average more tackles per game than him. He'd bring some much needed ohysicality and is exactly the sort of player we need. Breaks our typical transfer model but sticking to said model is imo what holds us back in a footballing sense rather than a financial one. That said he might cost too much for any model. He still has a lot to offer and I can't see him needing to take such a big pay cut to join us.
