Folk ask whatever areas we'd like strengthened next season, personally I'd like a solid no nonsense DM. I get mcgregor isn't getting any younger, but he ain't done yet and move mcgregor into a more central area where I think he's even more dangerous. we'll bring another striker in as rodgers likes 3 and kyogo is yet to get replaced. if Taylor doesn't sign this deal he's been offered then another LB to go with KT will be required, wether that be schlupp or another. LCB is key for me aswell. we've spent close to £15 million on 3 CBs, Trusty, Lagerbielke and Nawrocki, and with the best will in the world we're still watching scales play that position. we talk about improving, well if we want improving to kick on to another level for me we need a better LCB than scales. could we also do with finding a creative AM? For me yes. on what we already have, next season is a big season for the likes of bernardo, engles and idah. all 3 have had time now to bed in and play how rodgers wants, those 3 especially for me have to show more next season, and I expect they will. HH.

It’s nice to take time to enjoy winning 13 out of 14 SPL titles . We are still in the race for 6 trebles out of 9 .
Wonderful times for a wonderful club to take the rare opportunity for club from the Board down, through managers and coaches the players also, many of them absolute stars, some more than useful squad players, stepping in to help manager in times of injury and the rare loss of form, all the above collectively do a lot to build the successful Celtic, but the final group who make all other parts work are our supporters who continuously drive our club to unprecedented success.

Let us take time to enjoy the success our club has achieve, now when we have a massive gap as far as this season with the final leg of our 6th Treble in 9 years against a very formidable Aberdeen team, Based on form at various times this season Aberdeen and Hibs look like very strong contenders for 2 nd position next season .

The break from April 26th until Cup final Saturday May 24 th is the ideal time to enjoy our success, with everyone building up to a successful final. After May 24th things tend to become nervous and filled with tension as we have SMSM by speculating on many of our stars leaving and criticising Board for slowness in signing top class new players to blend in with our current players for Champions League qualifications . Most of us will be on tender hooks, many dreading the challenge . That’s why this week and next week, I will try to appreciate what we have .

Celtic Da,

Very good post.

The one point I would make is that’s it’s not just the SMSM who have a go at our board about bringing in players and the pace at what it is done.

Unfortunately the narrative from some Celtic bloggers, particularly last Summer really stirred the pot and heightened tensions within the supporters all the way through the window.

Unity comes from trust. We are a well run club and hopefully these clowns let the manager and board do their job without the constant negativity.

North Q18 Thanks very much .
You will apppreciate that I haven’t much time for the impartiality of he SMSM .
At least, I appreciate that they are bigoted and have a bigoted and sectarian audience who appreciate their contributions.

However, I have nothing but the deepest contempt for some Celtic bloggers who pick up SMSM reports and add to the criticism of Celtic from the original SMSM hatchet job .

There isn’t much point in Celtic fans boycotting the extremes of SMSM, only for Celtic bloggers to use some of their articles to stir up divisions within our club.

To be fair guys, the board brought last summer's criticism on themselves after their 2 previous transfer windows.

Don’t agree mate. lawell junior was removed so it was a clean slate.

We then broke our transfer record twice plus a 6 million fee for trusty.

I am confident we will have a good window this Summer.

Some bloggers have agendas of their own and to spout about the lack of signings on a daily basis is over the top.

Deals can take a bit of time to come to fruition.

Problem is we take to long to get deals over the line lose out on our top targets over penny pinching tactics and then recruit the third option let’s see what dr football has in store over the summer if we are still up to that nonsense then he’s obviously just here to collect a wage and get him straight out the door.

I was talking about the summer and January window of Brendan's first season, both windows were a major flop and if it had not been for an agent contacting Brendan directly on the last day, we would have probably lost the league.
