That was as dire as I have seen us since the 0-3 Sevco game and instead of looking like a team on the brink of a title; today we looked tired, pedantic, predictable and wasteful in front of goal.
Of course it's just a blip on the grand scheme of things in another possible treble winning season, but we have fell way below our best form several times this year and if not now - it may be a concern for next season. For example, we are very poor at the back even against diddy teams and I include Sevco with 9 goals and again today. Shock result or not, they will fancy having a crack in the cup semi-final thanks to our poor showing.
Trusty is no better than Scales and should not have replaced Nawrocki but there were others well off it today and maybe took the 'expected result' for granted. Worryingly, I would suggest that most of last summer's arrivals would not make a profit if they were sold today and we need to see much more from them.
IMO there is a lot of recruitment and replacement needed at Celtic.

We look similar to last season's team again. My worry is we continue this stop start form into next season. You can't just turn form on and off, a treble might not be a guarantee at this rate and I can see us losing a few more games before the season ends.
Every team who looks up for a fight has gotten something off us recently and our players look like they can't be bothered.

Celtic mad . You may well be right . If we take today’s game and the recent ist half of Sevco game as a yard stick, we certainly need a lot of recruitment and replacement are required . However when we were constantly picking up results in Europe and a fantastic spell of SPL results, then maybe we should be careful not to destroy a good squad by too many recruits and replacements . The most impoimportant.

Based on today’s performance we need to buy plenty of ist team players. However based on our Champions League form and the exceptionally busy SPL schedule we may not be as urgently in need .
No doubt we will be targeting specific positions with players who we expect to fit new players into our system of playing.
